Quick Easy Grammar Lesson
Published (2009-12-06 22:22:00)
Here is a common grammar mistake that is made. I just thought that I would let others know a or an a goes before all consonants. example. a cat a bugle an goes before all vowels example. an area an elephant there are some exceptions to the rule (as always) an will go before a silent h example an honor and a goes before a u if it makes the sound of you example a unicorn and a goes before the letter o if it makes the sound as in won or ton...

What are rates of Ebook writing?
Published (2009-12-06 19:58:00)
Quote: Price depends on the quality as well as the price the client is going to charge his/her customers. Half-true. The price you charge to sign over rights to the work has absolutely nothing to do with what the client plans to charge his or her own customers. The client can choose to give it away for free is they please (and plenty are willing to hire someone to write an e-book for that exact purpose). All that matters is their expected...

Best Tools To Write Articles
Published (2009-12-04 11:36:00)
I know what you mean, but this '8 minute writer' actually speeds up writing for me. I know I can do all that with Word, but hey using those empty form fields make you sprint from field to field faster. Besides, a blank Word page is scarier to start with!

I write 3500 words per day. This can be fiction, magazine feature articles, Internet articles, or anything else that Im being paid to write. When I say 3,500 words per day, I mean words that I end up keeping after editing. If Im writing fiction, this may mean writing quite a few more, then editing it down. Christine

As it was mentioned in other threads. There is no reason for any writer to feel forced into receiving these low rates. If your competing for work with these writers who charge a penny or in some cases even less then your probably fighting with the wrong people.
Any webmaster or content buyer that purchases form these "cheap writers" are getting "cheap work". You can still get paid your rate ...

If you write like that all the time, then I am sorry to let you know that no American company that is known will pay for your articles.

I have met this obstacle. When I do I usually take a bit away from writing so I can refresh my mind. There is just so much that you can say about one topic. But, you can always put a different look to the article.

I think that there are not enough moderators. We as members need to start flagging threads that we know are scammers. All members must be moderators. I know of another forum that runs like that. It works for them.

Burnout and lack of motivation is a common problem that affects writers writing monotonously day after day.. I would suggest you to complete your assignments till now. Dont take any more assignments for the time being. Go out on a break, preferably with your family and loved ones. Relax yourself, dont over strain either sitting in front of your computers for hours. Remember, if you get into a job...

I believe that when it comes to writing quality is what matters. I am not sure that you can still maintain quality if your using a program or some software to produce your articles or sales pages. It is better to just research, and learn to write.

I dont think it might be that usefull as every article does not get fitted in bullets format and rather if we need it hardly takes any time to use bullets and numbering in MS OFFICE 2007.

I've written 500+ words in 15 minutes, but have also spent about 45 minutes on a similar subject with similar word count. I think it depends on your mood, subject matter, familiarity and your process.
Here's a tip (if you don't already know it): Write your intro paragraph, identify 3-5 key points and then elaborate on those points in 3-5 paragraphs. Writing goes much faster for me when I ...

I do not think that article writing on DP is dead. Sometimes it looks like it might be in bad health, but like anything else it can be turned around. What has to happen is the writers here need to start realizing that $1 articles are not worth your time. Stop agreeing to these rates.
Start charging what you believe that you are worth, even if your from the poorest country. If you can ...

GAF is full of such providers, sad to say. While DP is also crawling with cheap incompetent writers, I believe most of them do their work themselves instead of outsourcing it farther.
However, further outsourcing is no guarantee that you will get sub-standard articles. I'll tell you my story, and I hope that gives you an insight into the outsourcing world.

I actually type more than 100wpm, but your typing speed has very little to do with you ability to write content quickly (unless your idea of "writing" is just rewriting and making minor edits to existing work). Typing speeds are typing alone -- looking at existing text and typing almost brainlessly. Writing on the other hand involves thinking, creating, and planning all in addition to the actual ...

Well how long would it take you to write a 100 page book, proof it, deal with possible edits and so forth? I would get a baseline of hours that way and then figure what you are worth on an hourly basis and quote that + a bit more (-;

First of all is there a way of confirming that the article was copied AFTER it got published on EZA?
Secondly, maybe it was already on that site and your ' outsourcing' partner copied it for you.
As an afterthought I think this could simply be the case of copying from your EZA article ( as you said) and big G choosing to visit the masquerader before the protagonist, i.e copied article ...
