Replying to: New Have a Question I'm so sorry for your losses. I've not personally had a 2nd tri loss, but do have a friend that did and now has 2 kids. There are women on this board that have had the same. I just wanted to also tell you about a board under the Getting Pregnant section called Trying to Conceive After Loss (TTCAL is what we call it). They are a wonderful support group...and then when you get pregnant again you can...

Replying to: Ovulation kits I totally agree with Laura on it being easier to use OPKs to figure out when you're fertile. And I had to use Clomid, also, to make me O, since my m/c messed my body up so bad. The first time I O'd, we got KU! GL!!

Replying to: GTKYFP 12/17 As soon as I got m/s this time around I took the polish off since I knew I would have no interest in re-painting them. But, last week I had DH paint them red! Normally I always have them painted, some kind of bright pink or orange in the summer and reds in the winter.

Well they are still "pretty sure" it is a girl, lol - why can't she cooperate? Surprisingly, for me having GD she is measuring 1 week behind which the doc said is fine given my lack or non weight gain in a month, her gestational age and sex and said not to worry at all. However, my fluids were low so I have to drink 3 liters of water every day. I will also start going in for monitoring 2x a week I believe starting next week or...

Replying to: IntelliGender??? It also states that if you have PCOS that results could be wrong. I do have PCOS but took it anyway. It was still right. It does say that if you have PCOS it can give you a wrong reading for boy because women with PCOS have higher levels of male hormones in there system than normal women.

I don't think it's really anything to worry about at this point. Your dr. may be worried about GD. I failed my 1 hr, but passed the 3 hr. One of the #s on the 3 hr was on the higher end of normal, so my dr said that I should still watch my sugars. I was measuring a week ahead then and he warned that there was an increased chance of a c-section if the baby ...

Painted in the summer, not painted in the winter. I too prefer red when they are painted. Although if it was summer now my toenails would likely be unpainted. I can't quite get to them anymore!

I have already told my boss that I am pg. I really wanted to wait until after xmas, but we are having our xmas party tomorrow night and figured he would assume something if I didn't have wine in my hand. I told him separately b/c I felt he should know before the others. Due to my situation (see sign) we are CAUTIOUSLY optimistic. We are happy and I know they will be too. My question is, ...

Hi Vanessa. I'm sorry to hear about your first loss...it is so scary to get preggo again and stay positive. The HCG levels are supposed to double every 2-3 days...but don't give up hope yet. How far along were you with the first u/s? The HB usually starts sometime in the 6th week, sometimes can be seen even sooner later in the 5th week. ...

I think it may be normal pg symptoms. M/S has been know to go away and come back or start later in pg. There really aren't that many symptoms of GD (or even regular D). Mine were EXCESSIVE thirst, not just thirty but like I was dehydrated for days, EXCESSIVE fatigue - which can be normal for pg as well as EXCESSIVE urination - again a common pg ...

no pets and while I'd love a dog, DH refuses and I have to be honest, we need to let life settle down a little first...so I'm biding my time until DS can ask for a puppy (because I know DH may be able to say no to me, but he's a wimp when it comes to saying no to DS! LOL!)

I went for my appt this afternoon. My BP was a little high, but only because I had to walk across the parking lot and barely had a chance to sit down before I got called back. They took it again later and it was a lot better. I had my GBS test today. Fundal height was 37, so I measured two weeks ahead. When the dr. listened to the HB, he kept having to move the Doppler and said the baby ...

I took one at 13 weeks and it said girl. It was right. At 15 w5d doc confirmed it is a girl. You still might want to wait a couple of weeks to be sure you aren't too early. I wouldn't want to spend 30 dollars on something that might not be right, and I wouldn't plan the nursery on it. I just did it for fun. Good luck

Congrats on your BFP!! Unfortunately for women with our history, fear is a common reaction in most of our pregnancies. You have to start by taking things one hour and one day at a time. That is what helped me get through the beginning. I would definitely call your OB's office and see what they are willing to do to reassure you. I also told my ...
