Replying to: Help-Breatfeed baby constipated it's normal...Keira doesn't poop overnight and seems to like to save them for the afternoon (like today we had 3 REALLY big ones in a matter of 30 mins) Anyways, it's normal for a BF'd baby to go up to 3 days without a stool (I assume he's still peeing?) Try gas drops to see if that will help him calm down enough to pass the gas. Usually around 2-4a Keira will get gassy and...

Replying to: bedtime routine We're still getting into a routine but it isn't really working so we could use some tips too. We're feeding every 2.5-3 hr during the day... So we usually wind up with a feeding around 6 and then another one around 8:30 or 9. He'll sleep between those feedings (usually on our bellies in a cuddle) but then we put him to bed after the 8:30 feeding. Then - he'll scream for a good 30 min (or...

Replying to: repair too good? (TMI) Lauren, I had a 4th degree episotomy with DS (the worst you can get) and my body down there is never going to be the same. I'll tell ya right now, don't get out the hand mirror and look down there. You'll be disappointed. I look like the Rocky Mountains were formed or something after I had DS and that's "normal." Some of the OB's at my office think I have major hemerroids...

Hello ladies I finally made it here!! My little Levi was born Saturday morning at 2:48 via c-section, he weighed 6 lb 8 oz, 20 1/4 in long at 36w6d. He was one day shy of being term, and the pedi says he doesn't look pre term at all...but we're still having to run all the premie tests on him. It's a more complicated process than I had with DD but I'm grateful he's so healthy and all the ...

Replying to: is it normal? Babies all need different amounts of sleep but 12-16 hours a day is normal for a baby that age...some more some less. If your LO is growing, thriving and hitting it's milestones (smiling, cooing) then she is doing just fine. Every baby is different. If you are concerned, mention it to your pedi at her 2 month check up.

Replying to: feeding ? new here... My first son was 9lbs 8 oz at birth and was hungry all the time. He would eat every 1 to 2 hours and I was formula feeding. THis only lasted about a month then the feedings would be about every 3 hours. Chances are that your baby is hungry that is why he's crying. Babies will eat a little if they are not hungry and will just spit it up if they ...

Replying to: How do your LO's sleep? My LO was the same for the first 6 weeks. The only thing i found that worked was having him in a sling. Every baby is different, but all the books say that 6 weeks is the usual magic point when colic winds down, sleeping gets better and babies start to use coos rather than crying to communicate. I was sure that Teddy would not fall into that catagory,...
