So today was a nice day. I got a great night sleep last night because DH stayed downstairs with LO. I woke up and pumped and ate breakfast while DD slept a little while longer. Then she woke up and I fed her and put her down. She laid in her bassinet wide awake for about a half an hour while I got some housework done. After DH left for work I gave her a bath, which of course she loved, and...

Replying to: Vision Concern Babies at that age are still trying to focus and their vision is still in the rough stages. i wouldn't be concerned but you can always discuss this with your pediatrician. Also, if you don't have it already, I recommend getting What to expect the first year. It has lots of good info on development, how to help them develop, etc. Also you can check out www....

Replying to: She slept! My DD likes her stomach too. Same as you guys, we don't let her do it during the night. Actually right now she's on the couch asleep on her stomach. MIL said DH wouldn't only sleep on his stomach when he was a baby. It was considered safer back then.

Replying to: last baby We'll probably end up having 1 or 2 more children after this. However, I can relate to how you are feeling. In my case, I attribute it to the fact that I was so young with DS. I was 19 and it was an unplanned pregnancy. Plus, my DH (DB at the time) and I had only been dating for 2 months when I got pregnant. I had never had any experience with babies. Not only ...

Replying to: having some " me" time Not sure what your weather is like, but maybe just taking her for a walk in the stroller would be fun. I did that yesterday just to get out of the house and it's free! Money is tight for us too. The walk is also good for some exercise.

Replying to: Poll: baby weighs My little man is 10 weeks old and at his 2 month checkup he weighed 12 lbs. 5 oz. He was 8 lbs. 9 oz. when he was born and that was two weeks early! I think he is very close to 13 lbs. now. The weather has gotten cooler where I live and his 3 month one-piece outfits look like capris on him because he is so long he is a little over 25 in. which puts him ...

Replying to: VERY OT and TRIGGS Ann-Marie, ((hugs)), first of all, happy birthday! It must be so hard right now to have your birthday but of course miss your brother at the same time. I'm sure he is looking down on you and your beautiful baby girl ...

Replying to: DH Getting Up w/Baby Just lurking today as I am at work with nothing to do. My DH works midnights, so when McKade was born nine months ago, he was never there to help me, AT ALL. So consider yourself lucky. I BF him too, so even when he was home, what was he going to do? Was I supposed to wake him up just to change his diaper and hand him over to BF? Thats ridiculous, ...

Replying to: next baby... I got pg with DD when DS was 6 months old. Some thought we were nuts but most people gave us great feedback. We've already talked about TTC #3 by the time DD is 6 months old. I really want my DC close in age. People keep asking me how things are now with a newborn and a toddler, and honestly I just LOVE it! I've never been happier. I thrive on chaos and ...
