Replying to: How does LO go to bed ? DS has a bath and usually a 6oz bottle before bed. Lately he's gotten into the habit that he doesn't want to go straight to bed so I've been holding him for about 10 minutes after his bottle. He's fully awake but it seems to help him mellow out. Then I'll put him into his crib and turn on his ocean wonders.. give him his paci and he rolls over on his side and knocks out....

Replying to: How does LO go to bed ? My DD used to always fall asleep nursing and I'd just lay her down and she'd stay asleep but for the last couple of months, she usually nurses and is still awake so I will rock her for a minute or two but she's usually trying to stand up on me and look around so if she's doing that, into the crib she goes. If she will lay her head down and cuddle, I will hold her but that almost NEVER...

Replying to: Playtex Drop-Ins When we used them we liked the silicone better, well, Ellie liked the silicone better. We stopped for 2 reasons. 1. bags started breaking, I think there was something wrong with the box of them, a weakness or something. 2. It was hard for us to measure, it didn't seem accurate, the ounces that is.

Replying to: OT: Diaper size poll My bitty is 8 mos 2 weeks and is just now going into size 3 diapers- she is maybe 15 lbs- 16 at most and she is skinny but has some thigh action going on. I will tell you that it might be worth it to get some size 4s. She will likely stay in that size for a long period of time. Even if they are a little big big when you get into them, it will be worth it. Especially when it sounds like its inconenient to have...

So I'm just curious how your LO fall asleep ? Do you just put them down, rock them etc ... DS use to fall asleep while I gave him the bottle and then I'd just lay him down and he's stay asleep. Then I started putting him into his crib, giving him the bottle (I hold it for him), but recently I'm not sure how I got into the habit of rocking him to sleep but it's really starting to kill my back and he takes a long time...

I know there have been many posts about them but here goes another one. DH and I are going to buy DS his today and I need opinions on which one to get. I really would like one that holds up to 100 lbs but I don't know which one to get that is safe and not too pricey! All opinions are appreciated! Thanks!

Replying to: 6 months I have a baby the same age as yours. The Dr told me that if she's not bearing weight by 9 months then we'll look into it, but there's nothing to worry about yet. Replying to: WHATS WRONG W/BABY??? Hey Cheryl, sorry for kind of getting of the subject. I just thought of something else that might help. Could your Mom back you up with your grandma? Replying to: sister vent I'm in the same boat. Chloe Jo just turned 7 months and DH's brother's and their families have never seen her. His parents have only come once 2 weeks after she was born. So Shae started crawling yesterday! Last week she learned out to sit up on her own and last weekend she'd take one little "step" with her knee and pull the other one forward but that was it. Then yesterday she really got going and is now going 3-4 feet before she just stretches out to reach whatever it is she's after. I'm so excited! It's so crazy how fast they grow up. Just wanted to share. ...
