I woke up yesterday feeling a bit run down, who hasn't felt like that though? We headed up to the in-laws anyway, by the time we get there my throat is sore, my head is pounding, and I am warm but, freezing. I laid down on their couch and that is where I spent my Thanksgiving. We get home my temp is 101.1, I can barely swallow, I woke up several times in a cold sweat, this morning isn't any better throwing up has been added to the...

Replying to: DH once again OMG that sounds like my Dad. He tells me he wants some roller stand thing for in his wood shop and then today he was going to take off and go buy one himself. Luckily Mom veto'd him but still. How are you supposed to go buy things when they buy them themselves.

Replying to: bedtime - don't know what to do IMO they need about 12 hours of sleep a night plus a nap at their age (except for the 4 year old). It sounds like they know how to get what they want out of you. I think you need some serious help, and the only thing I know to suggest is to either follow the directions in the book, "The Sleep Easy Solution" or follow the Supernanny's routine....

Replying to: turkey cooking help I've never used the bags. I usually pour some melted butter on top then sprinkle w/ S&P, paprika, rosemary & bake. 30 min @ 500, put foil on top & drop temp down to either 325 or 350 until the breast reaches 170.

Replying to: ot-Tiger Woods That is what I thought, I figured she probably smashed the back window with the golf club he was trying to get away from her and crashed, who knows maybe she clubbed him with it too. The whole story sounds a little suspicious. And you are right if it was a "normal" person things would be handled a lot differently.

Replying to: turkey pot pie? ideas? I've made it like that before and it turns out fine. I wouldn't add potatoes to it though I would make mashed and serve it with that . We're doing turkey pot pie potatoes I'm making baked potatoes and filling them with the pot pie filling. I don't have crust so this is my solution

DH and I took the kids to have the holiday portrait done today, I was pissed from the minute we got there, we were told to arrive 15 minutes early, we did and there was a sign that said be back at 10am so, we had to keep the kids busy 15 minutes. Then the photographer came and she had her son with her! he had to be between 18-24 months, she was more concerned about keeping an eye on him then ...

Replying to: skinny toddler Our doc has been trying to get us to see a nutritionist since he was about a year old. There is nothing wrong with him except he is just tiny. After finally coming to realize that he is going to be small she has backed ...

Replying to: help: fever DS1 had this a month or so ago. He ran a high fever for about 48 hours and then it went away as suddenly as it came. If the fever came back, which they said it would 4 hours after each dose, they told us to keep him cool with ...

Ugh! Sorry, but I don't have anyone else to talk to about this crap. He's called 3 times today. I stayed very calm, told him I wouldn't discuss this and he could contact my attorney. He of course got all riled up each time. Now he's going to file bankruptcy and that will make me have to file. Is that true? I mean I've filed for divorce. Certainly that couldn't be forced on me. I ...
