My boyfriend has BPD. It has become very hard on our relationship. He is hesitant to go get help b/c counselors haven't helped in the past. Has anyone out there had any positive effects with any kind of treatment? Any info/experiences would help. Thanks! I can use any info anyone has.

I notice some people are on neurontin when they have bipolar or anxiety, etc. I am already on Lamictal 200mg but I am having a terrible time coming off Klonopin (I had an addiction issue) and my doc said we could add neurontin maybe. I am
waiting for her to call back.

roquelaure, I don't know of anything that will easy your side effects unfortunately. You should call the md asap! Don't wait until your appt next week. You could be having very serious side effects that need to be addressed as soon as possible. If unable to reach your md then you should go to the er. Hope you will be feeling better ...

Replying to: Someone please help me! are you sure you are being treated for the right symptoms? i was treated for 20 years for depression but later found out that i have bipolar. you really need to get to a psych-doc to get a good diagnosis if you haven't already. ask your doctor for a referral and go from there. see if that doesn't help. good luck david
