I had a heart attack 8 weeks ago and they stented 2 arterys. I also have a blocked artery from years ago. I have a 'natural bypass' in this one, but the doc says it would be best to get it opened since tests show it's not getting full
blood flow. He gave me the option of going to another state where they specialize in opening blocked artery with a cutter or laser thing, or getting a MIDCAB (...

In October it will be 2 years since I had 2 stents in my
Coronary Arteries, and diagnosed with CAD. Recently I have started worrying about my "mortality" and wondering if and when will I have more problems, or how long will my stents last. I am so aware of my heart, and if I have the slightest "twinge", I start getting panicky. I was just last seen by my Cardiologist, and he was very ...

Hello! I'm wondering if anyone can confirm or deny that
fish oil can be safely substitued for Plavix. My GP, conscious of costs, has had me on this regimen since my heart attack in April of 2008. I appreciate his sensitivity to prescription costs (especially since I was supposed to take Plavix for 6-12 months but the manufacturer states in its advertisements that MI patients should remain on ...

Hi: Scared no doubt. "It showed a birth defect. I have a narrow artery in the left front part of my heart. No one can really explain what happened. It was a spasm that hit this narrow part. There is no blockage." Unfortunately, even in normal (non-narrowed/non-congenital defect or anomaly) coronary
arteries, a prolonged episode or extended-duration of ...

Hi: "What is it?" Realistically, this can not be determined via the Internet. "Had test, says it is not the heart" What type of test? "I think it is inflammation and maybe pericarditis" Very noteworthy, lupus can affect the heart/cardiovascular system in a variety of ways, ranging from infection to inflammation, often producing numerous ...
