Hi everyone, I really need some prayer. I've been having some stomach problems and they want to do an ultrasound, a HIDA scan and a Bravo upper endoscopy. I need to be off ALL narcotics 24hrs prior to testing. It's scheduled for thur morning 7:30 am CDT. I take 90 mgs of MS Contin, about 20 mgs of hydrocodone a day. I am scared to death of this-what if I have withdrawal? They told me I ...

Its official my daughter had her ultrasound today and she is definately having a girl! I'm so excited I cant stand it! We will have one of each~she is due January 14th. Her husband is thrilled. I told him to go buy the gun and start cleaning it now, that way he will have gun cleaning perfected by the time shes old enough to date. Today her name is Audrey, however there are still 20 ...

Replying to: not missed Oh Cella, You are definately going to be missed if you no longer post. I have not been posting much at all nor have I responded to many posts although I do read them. My life is so crazy right now with my personal issues in life with family. I barely have enough time to even view the posts. Summers are generally really hit and miss for many with vacations...

Replying to: Tuesday Coffee Happy Tuesday Nancy!! You certainly are chipper!!! I am glad the world is being sort of reasonable with you. It is a lovingly morning in the DC metro area - "Ooooh La, La" - no humidity. And a lovely light breeze. My flare has subsided, as well, so I am having a "medium" day so far! I am going with my friend to the county, she is going to see if she ...

Replying to: power surges Hi Vell: I have heart palpitations from time to time that are just as you describe. I also start to sweat heavily (but that is common with me and exertion anyway.) Most palpitations are benign. However, you should still bring them up at your next doctor visit. When they happen, take a few minutes to just be still - I know that the heart beating fast feels ...

Replying to: simple pleasures Hi "Angil": That is what you are!!! Yes, I have found that being kinder to myself and "treating" myself now and then is just the ticket! You know how it is with the pain, sometimes you don't feel human - but I try to make sure my toes and fingernails are painted. Especially since I have not had any money, it is a free, delightful treat. And I think ...

Hi everyone, Haven't posted much lately as my life is a whirlwind of drama! Today I could hardly get out of bed. One because of the pain and the next because I am so darn tired it is difficult to even move positions. I have a job interview today and not sure how that is going to go. It is a long drive to there and then I am feeling so emotional. Just want to cry or scream or both all ...

Replying to: How to cope with doubters...? Maybe, if he is willing, have him google fibromyalgia and do some reading on it. The more knowledge that he has perhaps the more he can understand.
