Describe Yourself - Couples...

Replying to: Describe Yourself lol@ destroyed by gravity. You sound like my mama... She used to brag that after breastfeeding me she went from a small B cup to a very plump, full, sexy DD... but now that she's 50 she claims I gave her a curse cause they're making their way down to her knees... I think you're best quality is the ability to listen and give great advice. Even when you disagree with me you do it in such a way that...

Replying to: Emotional Abuse Kay, I wanted to add that it is never a good thing to start out a Talk by "getting in his face". You'll get nowhere starting off in combat mode, especially with someone with his temper and personality. Like a PP said, do you want to leave now, or wait until you have a broken nose and 2 black eyes to take this seriously???

Constant work?? - Couples...
Published (2009-12-02 19:31:22)
Replying to: Constant work?? I think that this is the greatest reason why I don’t think I could handle starting another relationship if my current relationship does not work out. The work and time and energy involved in creating, maintaining and growing that relationship from meeting someone to being with them exclusively is a LOT of work. And I honestly just don’t have the time or energy to do that again. Maybe when I’m older and my...

Working the holidays? - Couples...
Published (2009-11-29 03:23:31)
Replying to: Working the holidays? I kind of take issue with the "this generation" statement as well, as I'm a part of it. I work hard, rarely call in sick, and try to be fair with my coworkers and for the most part have seen the same. People in general find ways to abuse the system and yes, there are people that are lazy and don't want to work or think themselves too good to be doing what they are doing, but that happens...

You sound like a hard worker....but you do what you have to....lol. when you can just come on and let us know ur alright...and yea we missed ya...i beleive i speak for everyone on that part..lol

Constant work?? - Couples...
Published (2009-12-02 19:14:22)
Replying to: Constant work?? Taking the other person into consideration when you're doing things and making decisions is one thing -- to be afraid of his reaction to something you say or do is something else entirely. If you are always afraid that everything you do might set him off or make him angry, then you're in an abusive relationship. Relationships do require a lot of thought and effort, but in a healthy, mature relationship,...

Replying to: The F Word How long have you been dating your guy? Mine keeps in contact very regularly. I think since we met there has only been maybe one day that I haven't received an email, call or text from him. In fact, I just got off the phone with him now. He called me on his drive across the state for a business trip. He'll be back tomorrow night and then leaves on Saturday morning for another, longer trip. Just now he said he...

Replying to: Confessions [Week of Nov 30th] " I have to be doing something that forces me to use my brain" Steph, the correct answer to that was to smile sweetly and say, "Oh really, and what do you do that makes you use your brain?"

Replying to: Describe Yourself African American dread head shorty. Best feature is my eyes. I've always been told that they look mysterious and that I have a natural eyeliner and eyeshadow look. Tomboyish (hence the name). Motivated by and a sucker for love. Hard unapprochable exterior but as soft and as sweet as a fresh marshmellow (most of the time). On this board we normally talk about our spouses:s/o when they have pissed us off, irritated us, etc... So, I figured I'd ask everyone... what is a good thing about the person you're with? Has there been a situation lately where they really made you laugh? Possibly something overly romantic? Maybe a little thing they do everyday? Sunday my gf and I were both running (our schedules ...

Replying to: body shape affects desire How do you feel about your wife, aside from sexual attraction? How is your marriage? I find that my sexual desire for my wife is affected much more by these factors than by her appearance. Perhaps you could rekindle your physical attraction for her by working to rekindle your emotional attraction for her?

I heard someone talking about the GQ interview with Clint Eastwood the other day, and after reading some of the posts I have to agree with some of the things he said. One of them being that the country has gotten very juvenile. With people like Paris Hilton being famous for doing little more than nothing. It is pretty pathetic. I notice in the prison that I work at, that the inmates are ...
