Hello, Has anyone hear ever had diverticulitis? I was diagnosed with diverticulosis in my sigmoid colon in 2006. Earlier this week I started having sharp pains on the lower left side of my abdomen, and last night the pain got a LOT worse. This morning I can barely even walk, I have to be curled up in my bed. I don't have a fever. I have had many problems with my ovaries, including a recent ...

I have been having these really bad stomach aches. First of all I know when I will get one because I have heartburn all day before it happens. The stomach ache is not a typical one either. It is so bad that I can't even move. I am not able to sit up or stand up straight. I just lay in a fetal position for about four or five hours usually half a day or night. It makes me feel like I am ...

I got my gallbladder removed 5 years ago - summer 2003. I have had increasingly bad intestinal problems since and a recent colonoscopy showed a lot of scar tissue. The dr said it might be from the gallbladder surgery but really didn't have a definitive answer. I had a barium enema done which revealed an "ahaustral appearance," stricture and spasm. Is that some sort of really late effect of ...

I have had right side pain that makes my entire right side seize with pain and contractions since about 1 1/2 years ago. They had done numerous blood tests, CT, and then the Hidascan came back that my Gallbladder was only functioning at 3% so they removed it. I also was diagnosed with GERD on Endoscope along with Candida twice in my esophagus which they have put me on Prilosec for. The surgery ...

I had my gallbladder removed at age 21. Cholecystitis at a young age ( early 20s) runs in my family and doesn't have much to do with the usual causes. Anyway, I am now 26 and I have had phantom pain on occassion but nothing too bad, just made me uncomfortable really. It almost always occured when i was stuck in a car for a long period of time. Usually i would stop the car, walk around a ...

For years I have had frequent, sometimes uncontrollable bowel movements. I now have hemorrhoids and the frequent bowel movements make the hemorrhoids worse. My quality of life is starting to deteriorate. I want to go on a cruise but am afraid to go because of this condition. Any help out there?

I am a 28 year old male. I have been having increasing digestive issues over the past 2 months. I have visited the doctor 4 times over the 60 day period and still have not found any relief. I have constant gas like pressure in my upper abdomen. It also feels like my intestines are contracting quite a bit when I lay down. I also suffer from shortness of breath that lasts for about 24 hours...

I observed some white-ish things in my stool the past 2 times. Somewhat shaped like a sesame seed, or a piece of rice. I've never had a problem digesting anything and I think it may be tapeworm eggs. I've tried looking at pictures to verify but the pictures I find are all microscopic. I would love to go to the doctor but they cant get me in for another two months. I dont really eat beef, or ...
