Are you requiring the billing system to be separated from the web hosting control panel? Could it be integrated somehow? Thomas

I second that point. People choose what they know without having valid comparison experience. I've used cPanel and DirectAdmin the most with some Plesk experience and some proprietary solutions as well.

Hi, What counts with MySQL is that your entire database should be able to fit in the RAM if you don't want any slow down. If it starts to read / write on the HDD, then it's slower. So, to answer your question, you need to tell us what will be the expected size of /var/lib/mysql, as the amount of RAM of your server should be at least as big. Then comes queries with WHERE filters. Here, ...

WHMCS = Billing system cPanel/WHM = Server Control Panel WHMCS can provision as many shared accounts across as many cPanel/WHM servers you need. In the latest versions you have server groups where it will evenly distribute account provisioning when a new client signs up. So in short, you can have one system/account/server/vps with WHMCS. Which can technically provision on 1, 2, 3, 500, ...

Webmin will handle rDNS. It's the only free one that comes to mind. Obviously cPanel and DirectAdmin will handle this as well if you're looking for a paid solution.

Really depends on the number of monitors you setup and what sort of checks they are. You will need root access to perform the install, though.

Apart from Plesk you can check Hosting Controller too which is an equally good panel. With Hosting Controller you will be able to manage all the above things which you have mentioned and would have the plus point that it will allow you to manage both Windows and Linux servers through a single GUI which will fit perfectly in your environment since you are planning to offer both Windows/Linux ...

Hi, We are thinking of offering backup service on our website. I had a few questions. Are there any control panels that are built just to offer backup? Also is there anything that is pluggable into WHMCS? Please let me know as I could not find anything online. Regards
