No, godaddy is too big to care, even if you had 100-1000 domains if you start to run into any issues you might as well forget it. Plenty of other domain company's out there that will earn your business instead of putting on tv commercials. Good customer service is what sales products not what's too hot for tv. Some of the folks that have alot of domains with them will learn the hardway how they too will be left in the dust and...

I always protect my domains, both personal and business. Not to hide away but because I am sick of getting scam letter coming through the door. I get one every year saying I have to renew my domain with a company I have never heard of.

That is quite long, but it's prob. more important that the name is 'memorable'. It also needs to be SE friendly. Is it a name that could be abreviated ? ie simplify my forum name to: BDV quite interested now to know 'what is the [proposed] name ?

No, last time I calculated, you should have 24K+ domains in hand to get the same profit margin, comparing to be a reseller. My calculation was from 2007, and the cost for domain is higher now, so I think you will need more, not 8K domains in hand.

That is really a very good question. Never faced such a situation, or at least can't remember how it was tackled. Logically it seems DNS1 should delegate to Pluto, rather than Mars. However, if you see resolution problems with that, you'd have no choice but to do it from Mars. So yes, my first preference would be DNS1, if I were you.

I think this could be more to do with what trade embargos that may or may not be in place. I know we asked the US embassy in the UK if there were any a few years ago and there wasn't, I will ask again on Monday otherwise there should be no reason unless your resellers domain are more of a risque nature etc.

Sorry, I did not understand your question correctly, but if Enom is the gaining Registrar in this case, its very unusual for them to list contact information wrongly on whois. They should be pulling the info from the current Registar. So if Enom is listing it wrongly, you may want to ask them to check why so? Try to re-confirm the Whois info from other 3rd party sites or maybe other Registrars.

Hi, Are you sure you have them set up correctly ? as .co.uk nameservers are a little querky' to set up. They should be come nameservers 'instantly' but you will still need to wait for propergation, upto 72 hours [very slow hours]. I'm sure if you post a little more info, the experts here will comment.

Sounds like you are wanting multiple domains to go to your one site. You will need to change the DNS records to do so. I believe I found an article for DNS records of Yahoo hosting accounts. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/sma...ceddns-01.h tml Though, basically you are wanting to create an (A) record with your DNS servers. In order for your domain to resolve to your web server you will ...
