Hi Yuri, I do apologize if you have got caught by our vetting procedures, I am sure i will not be long. We do not auto activate accounts anymore, so as to protect our existing and new resellers. I hope you appreciate the reasons behind this. Kind regards, Chris

Best free DNS hosting?

Theres a few decent free dns hosting providers out there. Some don't grant you all the access that you would typically have over a zone without paying but it sounds like they would work for what you need. Shouldn't be hard to find a few of them.

eNom's prices have increased over the years, so i can understand the increase in pricing to you. However normally it's not possible to increase the price of a reseller above the price of the resellers sub-accounts with eNom. Not sure how they could have possibly done this.

Doesn't do that in my browser ( Mozilla Firefox 3.0.15), so maybe your browser software is intercepting and processing the 'typo'?

That's definitely weird -- since the new one's there the record has obviously propagated. Perhaps it's a bug in godaddy's system.

since these are free dns servers we use, they might be overloaded.
i advise you to switch to the other set of free dns -> click on domain name and find "Switch to DNS system V1" (or V2, depends on what you use now). It helps sometimes.

You will need to remove whois privacy before you can transfer, make sure the domain is unlocked and you have the auth codes also.

This sounds very fishy to me. The domain should show the expiration date that you paid for, nothing short of that is acceptable. You already paid for it. The provider should not be holding your money in escrow.

No, last time I calculated, you should have 24K+ domains in hand to get the same profit margin, comparing to be a reseller. My calculation was from 2007, and the cost for domain is higher now, so I think you will need more, not 8K domains in hand.

Yes, we are getting the same error from Resellerclub when trying to register .com domains. Will give it an hour or so then try again.
Edit:
Just seen this in the RC support center:
Problem connecting to the Registry
Update : The issue has been resolved for all domain name extensions except for COM/NET/CC/TV/IN/CO.IN.
On account of network issues, there is a problem ...

Why do you think your domains would be any safer in an eastern european registrar? Unlike web hosting, domain's aren't affected by location and your domains are registered by an ICANN-Accredited Registrar. I personally don't know about any registrars established in europe, the only one's I've ever used are mydomain, godaddy, namecheap, moniker, 1&1, and Melbourne IT (Australian) - They are all ...
