How do I pick the right bracelet...

I just bought a used Hamilton Valjoux 7750 (Linwood) watch on eBay and I like the watch a lot, although I\'m not crazy about the leather strap. Does anybody have any tips on where to buy a stainless steel bracelet for it? Since I\'m kind of new to watches, I am worried that if I buy one online, it won\'t fit the watch because of the style or something like that. This is what my new watch looks like (I paid MUCH less ). I\'d...

The Watch Boys?
Published (2009-11-29 16:04:00)
Anyone ever ordered from www.thewatchboys.com? I\'ve been on the hunt for a nice grey 24mm strap for the longest time. Heroic has one, but it\'s a little bit pricey. I finally stumbled across this website and they have a gorgeous grey nubuck with a nice looking buckle for $50. Any experiences with TWB straps? Thanks!

I have recently purchased several 24 mm straps (mostly from DaLuca Straps, who deserves the plug) for my Panerai PAM233, and I am looking for other watches on which I can use these straps. Would appreciate any input. Thanks for your help!

So I was hanging out with a buddy of mine on Saturday night, and on the way back from a beer run (or rather a beer walk) we walked by his apartment complex's dumpster enclosure (They like to give dumpsters their own little rooms in ritzy San Diego neighborhoods. God forbid anyone should be conscious of the fact that they produce trash on a daily basis).
Anyway, out of the corner of my eye I ...

Hey Guys, Here are 3 of my latest straps and I wanted to share them with you. I haven’t had a lot of time for straps or other hobbies since my son was born in May. If any of you guys are parents I’m sure you understand! Anyway, things are starting to get a rhythm around the house so I can “sneak off” every now and then for some strap work. I tell my wife the strap work is therapeutic but she ...

I\'ll say what others will say anyway, leather is never good long term diving strap material. Now that I said it and you want leather, real leather that is. Go for some hand made leather strap you love, something soft and suiting for your style. Then buy can of beewax for shoes and wax the hell out of it, after first week wax it again, and again after first month and after that when ever it feels...
