I couldn\'t agree more with everything that has been said. The Monster is a far superior watch technically. But the Makois a sharp looking watch, and aesthetically punches way above it\'s league largely due to the extremely well executed dial and hands. I have both, love wearing both, but when it\' s time for a piece to go (to make space for something new) it\'ll be the Mako before the Monster.

Well, the diameter of the watch itself is 48mm, so that only allows 3mm for the adapters to fall within your parameters. -' + '- These lines to the left represent about 3mm from end-to-end.

I got my Seiko Kinetic diver and I really like this watch. The bezel action may be the best I\'ve ever experienced (though there is a little back play in this bezel) and I love, love rotating bezels as this is my favorite feature/function to have on a watch. The biggest surprise for me is that though this watch is commonly referred to as BFK/Big Freaking Kinetic, it\'s not all that big to me ...

Also consider whether the watch is really NOS or whether it is simply a watch in nice condition.
