I\'ve heard of similar problems from some other owners. I\'ve seen 2 suggestions as a fix. 1, let it run completely dead then start it up again with the "dealing cards" type motion 2, Give it a sharp (but not too hard) rap on a desk or similar with the side of the case. This would un-kink the mainspring if something got stuck.

The SKA385 Caesar is a big diver along the lines of the Frankenmonster (which, by the way, makes it bigger than the Tuna Cans) but made to look even bigger and more prominent by the inventive case/lug/bracelet design and interface and the always fun to look at yellow, multidimensional dial. To give you an idea, here's how it looks in a few shots, hope you enjoy the show:...

Hi guys, longtime lurker asking for your help. I just got a brand new OM delivered, been wearing it for a few hours now and noticed it was showing nearly quarter of an hour fast. I just timed the second hand going once around the dial, and according to my G-Shock, it took just under 55 seconds so it's about 5seconds/minute (7200seconds/day) fast! I know the 7S26 movement runs a little fast ...

So I have a Seiko SQ 100 8123-6099 watch from Dad that has been sitting in a drawer for several years since his death. I had taken it to my watchmaker in hopes that it could be fixed. He stated that there was a break in the copper wire on the coil and it would be very hard and or cost prohibitive to repair or find a replacement. Quite bummed, I placed it back in the 'to be fixed" drawer for a ...

Just was bored today, so I took a few pics of my Breitling Colt SuperOcean (circa 1997) and my Orient Star 300m. This is really not meant to be a comparison, as they are both excellent watches in there own right. As you can see, the OS 300m is much larger in size than the SuperOcean. The size difference is 45.7mm vs. 41.5mm. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, and honestly the OS 300m is a "better" fit....

I finally got a few pictures of my new watch. I'm in love with the fact that I don't have to ever mess with this watch to adjust the time/date/battery... Special thanks to MINIDriver for his help. Sorry for the pictures. I have even less experience taking pictures of watches than I do collecting them.

Does anyone know a place I could find the Titanium version of the Nighthawk? Is my only chance if it pops up second-hand? And one more question, anyone know approx. how much these fetch pre-owned? I can\'t find them anywhere. I definitely want a nighthawk...but would LOVE at titanium one. Also, if my co-worker sells his, I\'d like to give him a ballpark fair offer and not rip him off....

Amazon seems to be having a price war with another on-line dealer (which distributes through Amazon). Every time this dealer lowers the price on the Nighthawk, Amazon matches or undercuts by $1.00. This has been going on for 3 or 4 days now. The Nighthawk is now $201 (49% off list) from Amazon, and I don\'t see it going much lower. If you\'ve been waiting for a Nighthawk, this may be the time...

"On each watch face are luminescent hands and markers. The Seiko Monster has bigger markers and more luminescent for a brighter display. The Seiko sports a domed hardlex crystal, which splits the difference between mineral glass (which is what Orient Mako has) and sapphire crystal, which can resist scratches, but is expensive and can shatter when knocked . However, the dome of the Seiko ...

Thanks for your reply. I\'m definitely familiar with both Chino Watch and Seiya. I\'ve ordered many times from both. It looks like Chino offers 5 different varieties on the GS quartz. It looks Seiya carries GS, but just the autos. I\'m sure he could get a hold of a different model though if I asked him. Yeah, I\'ve considered the Citizen Chronomaster as well. Actually, I\'m kinda torn between ...

Hi all, Yesterday I received my solid end link super oyster bracelet for my SKX007 and I thought I'd post some pic's and write a quick review of the product and the process to swap the bracelets. The background: I purchased the SKX007 about 6 months ago. It is my first automatic watch (my others are a kinetic Knight and a "BFK" SKA367). I ordered the SKX with a presidential bracelet installed ...
