Mine\'s actually the Macbook 13" aluminum model, and it\'s the edge not the flat surface that is perfectly positioned to slice my bracelet up. If I put something on that edge to soften it, I don\'t think the thing will close properly.

New PO question
Published (2009-11-27 06:47:00)
I believe that you have to try various positions (4 of them) to find out how the watch reacts to them. Not every PO shows zero response while placed with its dial up. Every single watch (not model) has its own "character"...

The Bond looks great on your wife. I presume you guys have the same wrist size. My wife tried on my PO once and it was a bit overpowering for her 5.5" wrist. She wears the mid-size Electric Blue and it looks great, but would probably not want to go any larger than this for her. Regards, Eric

I\'m not sure witch is better, the vignette or the Sinn - I know Omega use it too, but I honestly can\'t think of a better looking home for a 7750. Good call! As a bit of background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Fert%C3%A9-Milon and http://www.watcharoo.co.uk/prs53.htm You know how I like stuff like this! I actually took the photos a few months ago when I nipped over to see the Breguet exhibition in Paris. I was going to write it...

Pics of said watch. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures. Compared to a few others.. And finally just compared to my Tag.

Funny, I always thought the date window on the electric blue was bevelled, but from your (excellent, I might add!) photo it is clear that it has not. (Looks better like this than a bevelled one would, though - I really, really regret not grabbing the last EB my AD had in store last year...) Happy Thanksgiving!

Wieght difference is not significant in numbers, but it is noticable. I have in the past weghed mine and posted the results on another thread for a member that asked. Comfort, is incredible, but it is up to the wearer to decide. For me, if there are two watches, and one of them is Titanium, I ALWAYS choose the Ti version. I have been wearing Ti for years now. 1. It is very light. 2. I don\'t notice I have a watch on my wrist. 3. It is a...

I don't know why I never thought to try this combo, as I've had the Rallye strap for a few months. It spends most of its time on the Speedy Pro, but I was in a strap mood tonight and most of the others that I use with the PO are thicker and more bulky.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well this works with the PO and the comfort is sublime. I've said before that I like the factory SS the...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item =180437966494&ssPageNam e=STRK:MEWAX:IT The seller hasn\'t had any activity for about a year and he\'s asking for Western Union for the payment option. He\'s also offering paying cash on pickup but I think that\'s just a cover and he\'s trying to pull a fast one here. I asked for more pictures but he says he\'s too busy to take them. ...

I frequently hear about dressing the Speedy Pro down for casual wear. Because of its ability to do so, it has been my favorite watch... so much so that after getting rid of my first for financial reasons a year ago my fiancee got me a brand new one as my engagement gift. You can wear the Speedy Pro just about anywhere and certain that nobody will know the true value of what is on your wrist... an...

Just got this Omega SMP 2254.50 / 2054.50. This was originally technically the 2054.50 because it originally came with the bond bracelet, but as it's on rubber, it fits either description. I have always wanted one on the rubber Omega band and now I have it. My first SMP I am thrilled.

I\'m a newbie to watches, but after a couple months of navigating through most of the forums on this site, and after several trips to various jewelers and trying on the PO a couple of times, I have to say the black/white Planet Ocean is still probably the best looking watch that I\'ve seen (so far). The speedmaster looks great too, but I prefer other varieties than the "standard" pro. I like...

I haven\'t had a watch winder since I bought my Seamaster about 3 years ago or more. Can this do any damage to the watch?

My GW does not have the anti- counterfeit symbol. I was going to say that the GW was discontinued before Omega started using the anti-counterfeit symbol, but then I read Fr. John\'s post. Regardless, I doubt many GWs out there have the symbol on them.

I definitely wouldn\'t unload an X-33 . . . they are very hard to come by! By the way, Ocean makes a "homage" that is pretty much a dead ringer for the Ploprof. Ordinarily, I don\'t think it\'s a good deal to give up two watches to get just one. And I don\'t think you\'d find the Ploprof to be the kind of watch you\'d want to wear everyday. I think it\'s a very specialized watch. ...

Houndoggie, that is actually the first photo I\'ve seen where I like the bracelet! Looks good on ya! I\'d have mine on the bracelet more if it looked like that. Alas, straps for me. Davie, the PO is your friend!

The missus has granted permission for a new Omega. This one is a once in a lifetime, unique piece. Here\'s the two watches I have to choose from and Both of these appear to be the same watch, except the dial, and the first one is available from the forum AD for a reasonable price (probably the second one as well). Anybody ever seen either of these "in the flesh"???
