Aristo is not unknown on WUS, as Mike said. Those B-uhr interpretations are not too bad. Not the best when it comes to authenticity, but def not the worst. Interesting to note that Titanium is used. Titanium has a more authentic look than S/s. At least Ti looks closer to the Nickelled case. The first one, the Prototype B-uhr (?) -cool, but I can not still see the hour easily. Movements are good, of course.

Happy 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, 9 Nov 1989. Among the many positive changes that occurred after this date, a not-insignificant one has to be the revival, re-emergence, and return to eminence of the German watchmaking tradition. Cheers!

I finally took some photos of my new Archimede XLH. This is my first Archimede and I am very pleased with the quality. I was concerned about the 45mm size since I have small wrists (6.75"). Although it is a large watch, the fact that it is fairly thin makes it very comfortable to wear and does not feel like it is swallowing my wrist. Compared to the slightly smaller, but much thicker ...

The FedEx man knocked at my door and delivered the "Support Laco Chrono" No. 44/44. Some quick shots First impression: Understated and affordable automatic chrono - you barely see the sub counters which was intended and made me buy that chrono, looking perfect on my wrist, smooth pushers, srewed in crown. No regrets.

My father's been eyeing a couple types of Glashutte watches and is finally considering getting one since RowNine is having a sale. How do they hold up against other luxury watches like Omega? I know they use their own movements and how accurate is it or whats its quality like compared to ETA movements?

Very nice looking pieces! For me, the white dial in particular is most attractive.

Hi All, Wanted to share my 2 German watches. First up is my Stowa Airman Auto I got around April this year. Feel that these are great value for money watches and their customer service is just outstanding. It\'s currently on a black Hirsch Liberty (the 3rd strap change since I got it). Next is a Damasko DC66 I picked up used from another WUS member. I was initially considering a DC56...

I just received my DA37. What a beaut! I'm very happy with the size, as my last pilot's watch was too big to wear with a full sleeved dress shirt (Swiss Army Mach IV).
I bought it from Watchmann.com. I pulled the trigger when he told me that Damasko is not currently planning on making any more of these, so that they could not do the personal engraving for me. I wonder if the in-house ...
