Always wondered about that......over 20 years diving now and i have never dived in pitch black conditions where this would have ever been needed!! Oddly enough i take torches!! Maybe at night in my bedroom, but never while diving...ever.

Mon Dieu, le sacrilege! Or words to that effect. Sorry Caesar, since I held that very watch in my hands, it would get the brushed finish as the Gods and UTS have decreed! However, as they say here and everywhere, it is yours, do what you want(you already have) and enjoy it. I wish it were back with me(but I would keep my Doxa also) paul

I own two boutique co. watches and I wouldn\'t say Orient is not in their league. Quite the opposite.

I preferred the more minimalistic dial on the SAR (and I even like the cyclops), so that\'s the one I bought. I also like that it\'s been discontinued, so maybe it\'s a bit more rare. As far as accuracy, mine was running about +25 when I got it, so I sent it to Jack at IWW. It\'s now running about 1 second slow per day, which is pretty damn good IMO.

I had narrowed down my choice for a new watch to the Zinex and the DWATCH. In my opinion they are very comparable in size, movement, etc. In the end, the special price DWATCH is running right now was just to good to pass up. I can\'t believe what you get for the money. I think this watch is awesome. Love the cushioned-style case, the bezel is fantastic as well. And I am really loving the ...

Thanks for the post, George. It\'s always great to hear about companies that stand behind their product 100% & take good care of their customers. So did you get the replacement winder yet? Got any pictures?
