new gw 2500 v. the 2000

I had both, and sold both. Now I wished I would have kept the GW-2000. I could replace it now, but it would be at full price, I got 35% off the first one, Casio has me so addicted to discounts, that I cannot bring myself to pay full pop. Cheers...

Another one "from the vault". This time, a black and blue DW-650, circa 1995, I think. I bought it new and recently replaced the battery:

I wanted the MIY series complete since I know it existed. After the Riseman, Gulfman, Mudman and Frogman, the fifth model of the series finally arrived today. The Fisherman. It had a dead battery and I have bad experiences with Fisherman battery changes. Under the white sticker, there is an AC contact marker, but there is no contact near. I thried the contact below, which fortunately worked: After closure: Yeah! The Mermaid sings again! Many...

Interesting topic, browsing this forum is fun. I surf from the setup below. Everything is still the same from when I took the picture except the office recently gave me a replacement to my aging (but totally reliable) D600 from 2004. Computer is now a D620, 2.0GHz C2D, XPSP3, SSD, 4GB Memory (or whatever a 32-bit system can use). My old setup wan\'t bad, but the the 2GB/1.8GHz single-core ...

After driving ca. 50 kms to the next UPS-Station and back to pick it up (because the Truck driver wasn't able to find our mailbox ) - here are some Q&D pics. I'll take some better pics as soon as I have the chance to use some natural light...
I had some doubts because the "Mudman" and "200m Water Resist" text is purple, but in reality you really got to know it in order to notice it. (Besides ...

Hi,
the postman just rang an gave me something ! After selling my GW-9200-1 some time ago I never thought I'd get another Riseman but since all the new atomic Gs seem not to have current time visible in any mode other than time-keeping (this is getting kind of boring Casio ) I thought - 'Well maybe I have to change my mind on the matter.'
The GW-6900 was flipped after a week when I saw the ...

As you can see my house is kept pretty cold. Both watches were left on my kitchen counter for over 30 mins untouched and out of the way of any moving air. I would have to say the Riseman is on par with the Suunto Core. I set the barometer reference of both watches to NOAA.com\'s information for my city yesterday.

Hi All, Just trying to get confirmation as to whether the GW-6900 has an auto repeat function on the countdown timer, some sites say it does some don\'t!! Thought the best way to confirm is to ask someone who owns one!! Also if you do, are you pleased with it? Thanks in advance Dan

If you contact Higuchi, he\'s quoting 63,000 Yen which is around $700. That\'s where I got mine.
