Well - here's the kicker: Nobody guarded me, I guarded someone else (archmage) - and still no dice on hatred. I would think that with Menace and two abilities I would be genreating enough hatred to get anything to focus on me. Otherwise I simply can't see the point of tanks and hatred... How is the relationship to damage - does someone know the numbers? Today it sucked watching a Slayer going down to a champ in a PQ because I...

The sandstorm is a better sword from a dps perspective. Much higher stats coupled with the crit more than make up for the difference in weapon dps. Obviously the LV sword has some survivability built into it that the sandstorm sword lacks.

Idk man, I've never had this problem. Unless your strength is just ridiculously low you should be able to hold aggro. For single target aggro are you using Graceful Strike? Aggro will get away everyonce in a while, but if that happens your groupmates need to pop their detaunts. Are they doing that? Also, it will help if you get them to slot subtlety tactics. Nature's Blade will also help hold aggro. If these things aren't...

Aetheryc Armor and Crushing Advance armor buff dont stack. but you should still keep the 5% disrupt and 5% block bonus (normally crushing advance armor bonus is highder then aetheryz armor.)

Hi Guys, just started doing Lost Vale runs, and wanted some advice on spec etc for tanking LV.
What I was going to do was run the 2 sent pieces I have (Head and Belt), Invader shoulders, gloves and boots, and conq chest (need 70% of an rr rank to wear my inv chest).

TRy looking at GW website: www.games-workshop.com .
At least on the Uk one under High Elves you can find all sorts of banners.
Also check "The Warhammer Forum" for clues.
Colors will depend on what you have painted the army as - ie a massive red banner on blue and white elves looks a little..off.

Was trying out Eagles Flight and Wall of Darting Steel for a combined hopeful Parry of about 95% - but found they don't stack.
It got me wondering, does anyone here know which SM abilities, buffs and tactics that does stack with others?
Is there a list hidden somewhere, or can you name any ...

For most builds EA will deal more damage over the course of a fight. EA will almost always be on your target if you're moving through the balance stances continuously and as a result, provides fairly consistent DPS. PE is more random but a bit 'burstier' than EA due to its mechanics ...

Hi Kell, not much has changed to be honest. They fixed bladeshield, did some minor damage tweaking (IE Ether Dance hits a bit harder now).....small changes for the most part.
I have never really had a problem with tanking so not sure what you mean by that, but would be happy to answer if you could elaborate. Basically build avoidance and stack wounds and you can tank anything in this game.

I am at about the same RR as you (46) and I run a "bubblemaster" build that works pretty well for me in RvR. Only differences I would say in spec would be to drop AA and get PoH and to swap out Rugged with IR. If you are going to run a bubble build then run it as strong as you can. As other have said, CA and AA don't stack so take one or the other. Taking PoH will give you all three possible ...
