Im tinkering with the idea of going down to 242. I know if i do this the 2 short walks I do a weekarent going to cut. Im def wearry about doing too much but I know its a neccesary evil. So....Any one have any ideas on whats enough, but not too much?

That's how I like the reverse bands set-up, no help at the top. I like to put the bands over the sleeves to stop them getting damaged when racking the bar. Yeah for the speed you could be a little faster, maybe drop the weight 10 lbs or so for most of your sets- really snap the lock-out.

Also, just to clarify, NO elbow sleeves, just knee sleeves. It's too hard to distinguish between someone using an elbow sleeve or an elbow wrap
If you really have a hard time going without your elbow sleeves, use them for all but your video sets, just take them off for the last couple sets that you are going to be submitting.

That sounds about right. You can still do press downs after the floor press. I wouldn't have the floor press be your only tricep focused movement.

Don't be concerned. 5 plates is 5 plates. If you have kilo plates, then obviously the math will be different.
When you break an all-time world record in the World's some day, let them weigh the plates out and find out you lifted an extra lb or two. Til then, just load em up and SFW!!

Strength off the chest
I have plenty of tricep strength when it comes to benching, but my chest has really been holding me back lately. If I miss a lift it's almost always within the first few inches after touching, lockouts are never a problem.
I've already had dumbbell bench suggested to help build chest strength. What other exercises ...

I'm going to go hard for about 9 months before competing in a meet again. I
want to make a national qualifying total next year. So my next meet will be
Alberta Provincials sometime in July. There's no date set yet but that's
when they usually are. Then maybe after that a meet in Oct to Saskatchewan
or BC.

So I'm going to try to pick up some monster mini's and some strong bands as I already have some average bands..
My question is how do you quad the minis? I see in journals it getting done, but I can't find online how you quad them? I get that doubling them means both ends on the bar and the middle is under a dumbbell.. so...
