WEDNESDAY - 12/30/09 Lifting - Bill Starr 5x5 Intermediate (week 24) Deadlifts: 5x315, 5x370, 5x425, 4x480 The 4x480 felt pretty good, but I'm nowhere close to a 5th rep. Also I did the first 2 sets plus my initial warmup set (10x135, not listed) using a reverse grip, i.e. left hand up, right hand down. ANYWAYS, i had a superior bench day today. PR for sets and reps. bench : 135 warmup, 225x10.5 , 225x7.5, 225x6... damn! just warmed up a tinge w/ 135 and then smoked 225. push press : 135x5, 155 2x5 DB OH tri ext - 60 x15, x15 disappointed wit the team wokrouts today... just walked through stunts and stuff and did some get-offs. then watched the skills play 7 on 7 for tourny this saturday... i played some slot/tight end for a few plays. was fun.

Plans for 2010 I guess its time to get some new goals and plans to start off the new year. I didnt make all the goals i set for last year, but some were a bit ambitious. I do feel that i got relatively close to them which is great for my first year of serious lifting. My name is Michael. I am 37, 6ft tall and around 205lbs. I have been lifting for just over a year. I have been lurking here and this site seems to have quite a few knowledgeable people so I thought I would post my log over here. I also have a journal at IA started in April.
