I just calculated everything i ate on livestrong.com and i came to 1600 calories. I still need to eat a bit more, but i noticed i had 42g of sugar. Is this too much for one day to cause insulin levels to raise? I know that isn't good...The thing is, all my sugar came from milk with my cereal, a banana, and an apple...That should be fine, right?

I am trying to lose body fat but keep and build muscle. I'm a big guy, 5'10 280 with about 28% body fat. So to the diet, I usually start with a weight watchers bagel with a little jelly, or I will have egg beaters on a wheat tortilla with fat free cheese, special K 90 cal. bar in between breakfast and lunch, for lunch pita with tunafish, or chicken salad and some baked chips or something, and ...

Drinking enough water is still a weak point in my diet and I want to fix it. That being said, how do you recommend drinking enough water without losing it all when I go to sleep. For example - last night I weighed in at 266. During my 9 hours of sleep, I woke up 3 times to go to the bathroom. A lot of work when I'm stiff and worn down from squats the previous day. I have to move ...

Tthe protein bar i had was called the atkins protein bar. It had 23g carbs, 7g of total fat, 1g saturated fat, 0 trans fat, 1g of total sugar, 0 alcohol sugar, 17g protein, 200 calories with 60 of them from fat. Is that an ok protein bar to eat once a day? I ask for work and such when i need quick snack...Sometimes i can't get to a good meal at work. I did a lot of label reading and that was the...

I have a dilema. I tried a clean bulk and gained like 2-3 pounds in a few months. I've been eating dirty lately and while I've gained some weight, a lot of it has been fat. I know this not just by the way I look in the mirror but because I gained it too fast. I'm not sure if I should get on a cut, or keep bulking, and whether I should do it clean or dirty. Im 22years old 6'4 233 pounds and been staying there pretty consistently for the last few months, Ive dropped from 245 just by cutting off soda, desert after each meal and all that. Biggest reason why I want to drop is by bodyfat from what my scale says is 27% which is nuts, im thinking its more closer to 20% but still would like to drop that. I am currently working on maintaining my weight, and possibly doing a slow bulk soon. But I usually get in around 4 servings of fruits per day. Is this too much you think or would that be fine for someone who is maintaining or doing a slow bulk?

I like my weight/strength gain progress but I'm also definitely gaining some unwated mass around the midsection... I'm not talking about losing my 6 pack... it's more like a mini beer gut should i continue and worry about it when I start cutting or do I need to watch what I eat from now on and do a little bit of cardio?

I need some advice on when to eat dinner, or, when to workout... I get up for work at 5:30am, so morning workout is out of the question, I get home at 6:00pm, should I eat dinner when I get home, then go workout, or, get home, workout, then eat dinner.

i start soccer tomorrow at 8 AM and was wondering what i should eat. i usually wake up around 7:00 and am out the door by 7:40 to get their early so i can get in some extra stretching. we obviously warmup before it gets intense, but what should i eat to have enough energy, while at the same time avoiding cramps?
