Nautique Dealer Issues
Published (2009-11-25 08:12:00)
The dealer I've dealt with is in Pickwick which is about 70 miles or so South of where I'm at. It looks like TNT in Hendersonville took over Drake Creeks Nautique line, so that may be an option if anyone knows much about them. It's about 2 hours away which isn't too bad. I've got a local guy that can do winterizations, oil changes, and general stuff like that, so that's not a problem. There is also a Tige dealer...

Simer Pump
Published (2009-11-23 12:50:00)
In retrospect I would think about aerators because they are faster, silent, and draw less power. But the Simer makes it pretty easy to do your basic system, and even expanding or changing over to impellors is not that hard. Try not to get the clear plastic hose, get the ribbed stuff that will never kink. The clear stuff doesn't kink a lot, but it CAN kink if you try and do tight curves or turns.

If it's warranty engine work, maybe Tige can do it. I've never owned anything with a warranty so can't say for sure though! Warranty CC parts will obviously have to come from a dealer. You might be able to get them to mail you the stuff and send your busted stuff back. This might require some bitching to CC corporate. Or, take it to the good dealer 2 hrs away once a year and have them fix everything. The other place, forget it.

Unfortunately I can't help you find a good dealer anywhere close. The CC dealer in North AL (Athens) is no better from what I understand. I haven't personally dealt with them, but others I ride with have and nothing good has been said. I've heard good things from Blue Creek Marine but they are in Montgomery, AL and way too far for you. Where is your dealer since your in the middle of Memphis and Nashville?

Tell Adam and matt bishop that Tom g from Chattanooga says what's up when you get to the factory. I'm going to call matt now and check out what options you're getting. I can't wait to hear what you think when you take delivery. The a22 rocks!

http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/sh ow_product.do?pid=2339 This is the best stuff I have seen used yet. A friend of mine leaves his boat in a marina all summer and uses it at the end of every season. The boat comes out of the water nasty and looks brand new again. I'm not sure if there's different variations of it but you'll want to look for "on-off" on the label

Aw man, I was wondering if you were going to go for it. I saw a pretty thorough documentation process on a different site once but I can't find it now. I would just make sure you get the right type of resin (one type rots, one doesn't) and also make sure you glass, resin, and gel the living crap out of them when you're done

I'm not sure of all the differences, I have a 2004 Mobius LSV, I have seen people throw mobe's, ralley's, Flips and spins behind it all in stock configuration. Boat has been solid and 100% trouble free for 5 years now.

Just FYI, you may already know, but simer pumps are not ignition protected. Meaning they will need to be mounted away from anywhere that fumes could be hiding.
