So my parents have finally agreed to let me get a BT for our house. They said it would be all my responsability which is totally fine with me So I have been talking with susan over at BostonBrigade and I sent in an application so hopefully all that goes well. There are two dogs right now at BostonBrigade that I'm interested in. Once I get a BT I will prolly keep this same screen name since ...

So my baby boy is one!!! I am so sad that my little pup is growing up. I want to bake him a special dish for his birthday. He only gets a a few different table items such as tomatoes, peanut butter, carrots, and a few bites of boiled chicken. Does anyone have any good recommendations for something yummy but easy on the tummy as well?

Every morning I get up and feed him and Gizmo (their favorite canned food) as they are getting old and regular dog food is too hard on their teeth. Buddy wouldn't eat his at all. Well, I just figured he wasn't hungry. Later in the day though I tried to entice him with a greenie and let me tell you no dog is happier than he is when he gets a greenie. Well, he wouldn't eat that either....

My moms BT Knuckles is staying with us for the time being and he wont stop licking his butt. He is quite the jumper so my thought that he hurt his bum when he jumped up to go over the balcony rail (ground floor) at her house, because he fell backward and landed on his rump. He dosn't cry when I pet his bum but he does lick it alot at night in bed. He is still running around with my three and ...

My boy, Bonnie's Reese Cup, is 3 years old today! I can't believe it's been so long. I still think of him as the little 7 pound, 9 week old puppy we took home. So, my sweet boy!

Just a thought, Where do you store your dog food, and in what? inside the home, garage or? And do you have a container to store it in? I kept mine in the house, in the bag. Just looking for other ideas.

And just when I am starting to trust Keepers at the dog park. Today I brought both dogs for the first time ever (normally I bring one or the other). Things started out awesome, our Norfolk terrier friend was there and the three of them ran all over. Then these two thugs came with their pitts (and small son). To my surprise Keepers did awesome with them! Then Keeps met his soul mate, a ...

I don't want this to be one of those yelling threads.... but I've just been thinking about this. So your only supposed to breed to make the breed better, but if you want to start breeding, most GOOD breeders don't allow their dogs to be bred. So... okay this is just an example! Don't get mad or flustered, EXAMPLE ONLY, not ever gonna happen! Stormy is horriable off the standard, but ...

Yesterday, while I was watching tv, Gage was minding his business playing with his toy. Then Cody comes along and tries to grab it. When gage refused, Cody attacked. Then all of sudden it escalated to were Gage got Cody by the neck and started to shake him like a rag doll. Eventually got them separated. Four hours later, Cody's whimpering b/c of fight earlier. A couple of us are drooling over the iPod Touch. But, in the past, we've always maintained an "Alphas Are Exempt From Contests" stance. Can anyone think of some way to prove the numbers aren't fix in the event that an Alpha wins something? I can't. Such is the price we must pay for our power...

I tell myself every tear is a drop of love just to make it through the next minute. My heart is broken and my family forever changed by a dog that forever changed me. My beloved Jazzmine lost her battle to addison's disease at 8:13 yesterday morning. Jazzy had an addisonians "crash" and though she fought bravely and gallantly the decision to let her go to God had to be made. Jazzy...

Dino gets mistaken for various other breeds and I'm sure many of you are in the same boat. I think people mistake him for a Frenchie most frequently because of his whiteness. I don't mind though because Frenchies are so cute. However, he's gotten lots of interesting comments. A few people have even said Dalmatian...I think they were kidding?

We were up all night with diarrhea and she didn't eat this morning. I took her in to be checked during my lunch hour and she was severely dehydrated. They are going to do an IV and bloodwork. They also said she had a serious heart murmur. I feel so bad for her. She was supposed to be adopted today. I'm awaiting a call back from the vet to see what the cause of the diarrhea is. I don't ...

I pull into a parking space yesterday, my friend & Gilly in tow, and I hear this woman telling her kid "Oooooh look! There's the dog we're going to get!" And the kid says "Oooh it's just like so-and-so's Frenchie, can I pet it?" So I'm in the midst of getting Gilly out of the car when they come around. As the kid goes to pet Gilly without asking ME, his mother says "ooooooh is that a ...
