Joren will always be in my thoughts. He and Faith are incredible little souls that touched the hearts of so many people they never met. I'm sorry that they were called home so soon in their little lives. Their impact on me will never fade. I wish your family peace through this difficult time.

So how about today? Line-ups start again? They were showing that in Rosemere, there was a huge line-up and they don't know why. I'm gonna try to go for Alexa tomorrow (Laval).

I am so so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it would be on my DD and my heart goes out to yours. I know Thornbird is going through this right now, her MIL passed away and her son is having a hard time. She might have some advice, she also made a post recently.

Thanks ladies...I have put out a discreet feeler about timing but I am 99.9% sure that they're going to be like, oh, we don't really know, still firming up details, blah blah. It happens all the time with our secondment programs. Not like people need to, you know, plan their lives. Ugh. If the application deadline was only like a couple of weeks later, everything would be "known" already. Curses! One good thing is that one...

I LIVED in heels for work but haven't put on a pair since my sis's wedding in September (ouchie!!!) and hadn't for a REALLY long time before that. Runners and flip flops (last summer) are sadly my footwear of choice right now.

I answered yes to both. This will sound hokey, but for me, it was a calling. I knew from my early teens that this was what I wanted to do/be (a doctor). There are days when it is very, very hard but more often than not it is incredibly rewarding.

I think in this case honesty is the best policy. If you knew for a fact when the position were to start and you knew you would be able to fulfill your commitment then I wouldn't tell them. However, in this case I would either not apply, or apply with a caveat.

I am so unbelievably sad to hear the news of Joren's passing. Words can not express my deepest sympathies for all that you and your family have gone through. Although I don't post much, I have been following all of your stories and updates, almost with a denial as I can't imagine going thru this myself. Joren and Faith were both very lucky to have such an amazing and loving family....

It's still two shots. We got the first today and were told to go back on the 23rd of November. I believe there is some research suggesting that one shot my be just as effective but as of now it's still two injections.

We do not stop activities because our girls have colds. Camille has been coughing for close to three weeks now but it doesn't affect her energy one bit. We still attend our weekly classes and don't feel bad about it.
