Gotta go with the majority on this. The ride is pretty crummy, but I don't find anything creepy about it at all.

Yet another voice of agreement. "Stitch" just isn't a good attraction. "Alien Encounter" was very intense. The preshow was great and I miss SIR a lot. Tim Curry's voice over for SIR was hysterical. I had refused to ride "Stitch" until this year because I had heard such bad things. But eventually the lure of a 5 minute or no line attraction can bend your will on a 99 degree day. My...

WDW December 3-6th
Published (2009-11-02 12:28:00)
I was at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday (10/31) and Disney Hollywood Studios on Sunday (11/1). Overall I would say that the crowds were not big. I was able to basically walk onto Buzz Lightyear at MK and also on the Tower of Terror at DHS. The wait for the Rockin Roller Coaster was about 20 minutes. Seems like a good time to go!

I voted AE but like both attractions. My only comment about SGE is I could do without the chili cheese hair freshener. Old Guy Alert I liked Flight To The Moon at Disneyland

Refurbishment Dates
Published (2009-11-04 11:11:00)
Based on everyone’s personal experience, have you noticed the Refurbishment timeline dates to be accurate? Specifically their end date - for example Space Mountain is scheduled to re-open on November 21, how likely is it to re-open prior to that date?

I would not bet on it, but have gotten lucky with a "soft opening" for an hour or two when they were testing an attraction. They were not advertising the soft opening. We saw a CM at the entrance and asked if it was open.

On our trips the dates have always been pretty much as published, but keep watching them sometimes they move as the project goes faster or slower than planned. But it never hurts to cruiser by and see if they are doing any guest testing or soft openings. You just might get a magical treat.

Hey guys! Looking into getting the Disney Mom/Wife a tour for either our trip for Thanksgiving or Mardi Gras (February). Wanted to do the Keys to the Kingdom, but the whole family couldn't come. Any recommendations for a family that needs a tour for 14+ year olds?Or any way to get into the Keys to the Kingdom for a 14 year old? Thanks for any help!

Me, I liked both attractions. To me they each offered something that was special and unique. Alien Encounter scared the living poop outta me the first time I experienced it but I loved it. When the Stitch refurb happened I wasn't really upset because I enjoyed it as well. If I could have both I would and wouldn't want either to be gone. Then again, I also liked Mission to Mars so....

WDW December 3-6th We have a trip booked for the world for the weekend of the 3rd through 6th. Everything we had read said this was a great weekend to go. We will be in the Magic Kingdom on the 4th and the Studios on the 5th. I recently heard that not only is Pop Warner going to be there but the Christmas Parade filming that weekend as well. As anyone been at this time? How crazy ...

Earliest memory of WDW Pretty simple, what is the first memory that YOU can recall in WDW? Not the, my parents told me I did this the first time we went to WDW. My first memory is of a protein spill.... yup, I was like 8 and we were eating at Tony's. Well my family kept telling me I needed to eat more, suffice to say I didn't wanna. I did as I was told then promptly had to have my...

It's been a while, but to the best of my recollection there's nothing that you'd call "creepy crawly". I guess some of what I'm about to write could be considered spoilers, so consider yourself warned. The closest thing to contact that you get in Stitch is an effect during the portion of the show that occurs in the dark of having Stitch jump from chair to chair, and at one ...

About the only thing I've never done is Body Wars. Only because it's seasonal I guess. I've never been there and it been open so with that being said, it'd be hard to ride it, lol.

I like it in principle, but as an AP holder I'd prefer to have more, or different, options. If not the gift card, then perhaps a transferable ticket that I could give to a friend or family member. I also wouldn't mind having the option to donate my free day to a charity of MY choice, instead of Disney's (although I have no reason to believe that Disney will designate anything other than worthy ...
