I never saw it in the 80's. I saw it in 1993, when it was still EPCOT Center, however, and what made it great? It was cohesive, unified, unique. It was something that was genuinely and delightfully DISNEY while not using the usual Disney stories and effects to tell a totally different story.
That story is OUR story, as a people. It took you (in Future World) where we had been in society, ...

I love CBJ. It takes me back to when I was a kid seeing it at Disneyland. One thing though....I don't get the reference..."Hey he's a regular Liberace"..."And he plays good too". Is this a reference to Gomer being gay? As was Liberace. Is it something that is meant for adults to get but not the kids? Maybe I just don't get the meaning of the statement or joke. I tried searching on this forum ...

Yep we got stuck on CoP, the scene must have repeated 6 times and then everyone started getting up and walking off through the exit doors. Totally ticked off the cast members but they weren't being very communicative.

Someone got shot at a Walmart here yesterday.
Walmart does have a Disney connection. They have a lot of Disney kids clothing and other things that aren't found at other stores.
They also have some Disney character iron-ons that you can use to make your own sweat shirts, etc.

Yeah, I hate that. I never correct them, but I always flinch a little on the inside.
Actually, I have friends that continue to impress me with their Disney knowledge. I have friends who I thought knew nothing about Disney, and yet when WDW comes up they know off the top of the head things like "Living with the Land," " Spaceship Earth," "Main Street U.S.A.," and knowing stuff like the presence...

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is great at night, and even better at night in the summer in the rain (it's like an awesome water ride). The lighting on the ride just make it more fun. I also feel the same way about Expedition Everest, even though it's much harder to ride that at night because AK is only open late very few times a year.
