The exhaust is ceramic coated. You can't powder coat it. It won't handle the heat.

I just noticed that you incorporated those studded leather bib on the front and rear fenders too, and also your helmet. Did you glue them down?

A local one quoted me $200.00 to paint some Tsukayu bags a single color. They painted my...

DIY lowering front forks?
Published (2010-01-01 15:04:00)
redboul , you should lower the back first and ride it a little while. You might find you like it that way and forget about lowering the front. I bought a Progressive front lowering kit for my 'o3 Vol but found i liked the bike just the way it sat when i installed the 2" rear lowering bones. Ended up selling the front end lowering kit to another member.

I called and all the guy wanted was year/make/model and he said he could get the paint codes and paint them to match. Ever considered using black exhaust wrap for the exhaust, a cheaper alt. than powdercoat. Just a thought

Nice work! I like a clean wiring job. Mine looks like a rats nest. Plan to clean it up this winter.
Like the floor boards also.
Ride safe

seems like I have seen something for this but can't find it right now.
I know the tack kit goes over both. I have one installed.
Good luck.

My wife has them on her C50 with stock exhaust. I just asked her now and she said no different with them or without. They do add about 30% more feet space. If you really want some vibration dampening, get the Harley floorboards with the rubber isolation pads and mod it to fit your bike. Somewhere here in VR there are instructions how to do that.

From what I have been reading on the subject, is that even 8" and 10" apes are a strech for the cables. I would like to put the mini apes on my 08 C50T too. I can't point you to the thread...but I think I remember that the cables were shortend a bit in 2008 or 2009 to make it an even tighter fit for this type of mod.
I would think that the controls would just unbolt and/or slide off, ...

I just changed to these...Saddlemen Express Desperado Slant X-Jumbo. They are rigid mounted using PhL0aTeR's step-by-step directions.
I also have the OEM studded C50T saddlebags I removed along with the mounts I may be selling. Very good condition, no scuffs or scrapes. Just wanted larger bags for road trips. _________________ 2006 Suzuki C50T - Chromed out!

I've posted my light mod a few times, but here is the result in the rear. I eliminated the PAIR valve and used the cover for my rear signals, adding 2 LED mini brake lights. I replaced the fronts with the same ones in amber, but I had to put the stock ones back on when I mounted my windshield. I am looking around for another complete set with stems to clear the bracket in front, and the ...

This was posted on another thread, hope it helps:
Put the Barons on my Volusia and the shoulder pain I was having went away. Didn't have to change any cables but i did have to snip open the wire loom under the top tree and pull the brake line out to get the slack I needed. Also had to tug a little cable slack out of the back of the headlight bucket. With the Barons you need to leave...
