..while searching everywhere to find an answer to this issue and realizing there is no specific answer out there that I could find. I was able to put 2 and 2 together thru all the readings and this is what I was able to do to my system....low and behold it is working great now.

It is likely that your hard drive is failing. If you cannot boot to any
mode and you do not have a standard Vista media, perhaps you can borrow one
to boot to repair tools and run a drive scan. If failing it will need to
be replaced.
If you have files of importance to you they should be backed up. The hard
drive can be connected to another computer or a
bootable operating system

Ok. I am EXTREMELY frustrated about this. I get error code 643. It is because I try to use Windows auto update and it says there are two updates available. When I try to install them, it will not install them. The two updates are: Security Update for Microsoft XML
