Lol, glad you got it sorted. Seemed from your first post that you were running it fine, patched it manually and then the problem began. Regards NWN2, you can see if your system will run it here Can You Run It

Can't say anything about either Vista or Win 7 32 bit... I know only about Vista or Win 7 Ultimate 64 because it is what I run at the house and... all my games play better on Win 7 than they do on Vista... but hey, it was just a suggestion

Some older games simply wont run under Vista and Win7. As for the 4 gig only showing as 3 gig, WinXP has a limit. 3.x gig is the maximum it uses due to its address space.

I have tried updating it several ways. Through vista's auto update and through nvidia's website. I even make sure to use driver sweeper before each update so there are no fragments left over from the previous ones. Right now I'm using Vista's driver because it seems to cause the problem less frequently. I have 4gigs of ddr2 800mhz ocz nvidia sli ram. I have run a diagnostic on them both and haven't come up with any...

Phantom readings. Speedfan gets its readings from the sensor chip and reports what the chip is capable of reporting, whether there is an actual sensor for the reading or not instead of filtered through the bios. Just go into Speedfan's config settings and uncheck those readings, and then you won't see them. Another thing to do while in the config options is to enable the logging feature. That...

I have the latest updated drivers. I have all the game patches. I have had all these games on my other system (XP) and they worked fine so I know there are no problems with the games. if it is overheating, you will need a program to monitor the temperatures ( i don't know any so anyone feel free to make a suggestion) and if they are above 60 - 70 degrees, you will need to open up the case so you can see the graphics card, and put any fan beside it to cool it down. tell us the results. Hello xXxShadowAxelxX, The best way to get around this is to use a NO CD/DVD patch, i use them a lot so i don't have to keep changing the CD/DVD over all the time to play different games, it also keeps the disk clean as its in the case most of the time. Hope this helps, good luck and post your results.
