CD Burner Not Working
Published (2009-11-23 02:02:00)
Ashampoo is another good all around burning software. Its also free like Imgburn. Either way. If both of these fail: - check the cable connections to and from the cd drive in the case - make sure there is nothing inside the drive that would cause it to malfunction(dust etc) - if all the above fails I would suggest looking for a new and updated driver - All the above fails it has taken a dump. Canon i9100 Photo Printer drivers
Published (2009-11-22 19:03:00)
Is there a place to download drivers from Microsoft for printers? They don't list the i9100 on the driver list in vista. I hit the windows update button and the i9100 is not listed under the canon drivers list. Think I'm screwed ???

is your driver compatible for vista 64bit?? as per your system spec?? If not just plug the webcam and see if vista do not detect it.. and install it by itself.. unplug it and plug it back till you notice vista detecting it.. as unknown device.. let it install by itself.. POst the outcome

No problem. Go to Canon Global and click on the link to your area on the world map. Put i9100 Photo Printer drivers into the search. Press enter key on your keyboard. It will take you to that printer's page. Click on ;Download Drivers'. Select OS. it will take you to a page for your x64 drivers.

Turns out that it was never installed so I went through Microsoft to get it, and it didn't even take that long to download and install. I'm still surprised that I never checked to see if it was ever installed. So, hopefully this will correct any of the issues and I will try and keep this thread updated over the next few days and let you know if anything persists. I just want to say again, since I haven't said it enough, thank...

Mass Storage Controller
Published (2009-11-19 00:00:00)
Under Device Manager there is a ! next to MASS STORAGE CONTROLLER (MSC). When I check on it, the message is that there is no driver and it is not working properly because it has a problem. I tried searching for a driver with no luck. What does A MSC do and how do I find a driver? There is no brand name listed for it.

I recently went to burn a CD through Windows Media Player. Everything was going as usual until it went to COMPLETE. Once that was done all the songs showed a red check beside them and there was nothing on the CD. I have a Dell E1405. I can't remember if there was an error code or not.

Hello Hot Rod Todd, This was caused by "sbp2port.sys", do you have any firewire bits on your PC, an ipod, or camera ?. This sbp2port.sys works with the 1394 storage support, so if you have any devices connected to your PC, disconnect them and try it, if all goes well, you will need to update your drivers.

I must confess I've never had any need to use SATA drivers during a Vista installation - it's always worked automatically The only thing I can think of is to ensure that those drivers are okay for Vista and aren't for XP. If they are, were they unzipped etc? They should also be in the Root of the drive, and not in a folder. How exactly are you attempting to install Vista? Via the ...
