Glad you got that worked out! 1) You can set global defaults at Webmin -> Usermin Configuration -> Usermin Module Configuration -> Read Mail. 2) For translation, check out http://doxfer.com/Webmin/TranslatingWebmin . In particular, there is a Webmin module linked from that page that makes it easy.

Command shell system access
Published (2009-12-07 06:25:00)
Hi Steve, Yeah, I don't know of a way to provide any restrictions within the Command Shell... Allowing Usermin users to run any command they want may be unsafe, sure... though of course, most probably wouldn't bother with it, so maybe it's not that big a deal :-) What are you hoping to allow users to do via the command shell there? -Eric

Sorry, I saw your message there and hadn't yet gotten around to digging into what that problem may be :-) Is the URL for your control panel "https" while your logo is just "http"? Maybe you can try putting the logo in a place where you can access it with the same domain name and both with "https", it's possible that could help. -Eric

Hmm, what operating system / version are you running Virtualmin on? And how did you go about installing it -- did you by chance use the install.sh? Lastly, what does this command show: grep mailbox_command /etc/postfix/main.cf Thanks! -Eric

I haven't heard anyone else commenting on that particular problem -- but if you continue to see issues with Opera, I'd recommend filing a bug report using the Support link above. -Eric

It sounds like you may be mixing the features of Virtualmin and Usermin. Usermin is essentially an email client. Virtualmin is for handling various web hosting related tasks. Virtualmin Pro does support an add-on similar to "Fantastico" called "Install Scripts" -- which provides over 80 apps that can be installed, including phpMyAdmin. -Eric
