My grandfather played Super Mario Bros. My mother played Vegas Stakes, and Metroid, and Pac Man. She sucked at the last two games, but she still played them anyways. I sucked at Contra but I still played Contra. I sucked at Twin Cobra who I got from a friend of the family, but he and I still played it. Me and my friends got each other killed on NSMB Wii and were laughing like hyenas half the time, but even though we weren't very...

Nintendo is operating under a new policy where they are not announcing any games until they are close to release. That's straight from Nintendo's mouth...that's why we're just hearing about Metroid: Other M, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Zelda Wii, Pikmin 3 now...they didn't announce them when they first started developing them, hence the cries that Nintendo is not making any games. They'll be out soon.

"I've actually had this confirmed by fans from that era" lol anyway, i enjoy Mario games. The king of video games. Epic platforming. I've enjoyed every single main mario series game a great deal. The weakest imo was Mario 64 but i still enjoyed that alot.

I assume you mean to the internet? Well, if you turn off WiiConnect24 it'll only be connected to the interwebs when the system is on. Other than that, the only way is to go directly into the system menu and disable the connection, which will get annoying very quickly if you have to keep turning it on and off.

When you first play a game from a new generation, your first response is generally "wow, this is amazing". But this gen I don't think that happened for anyone. Sonic Unleashed 360 did this to me. It still does this to me if I go a period of time without playing it. Prepare for backlash. Lots and lots of backlash. Oh, and Wii fanboy accusations.

I dont know, I REALLY think they need to find a way to get some great new franchises going, and reinvent old ones. They seem to be doing that with Metroid, but Zelda is basically the same thing every game, and Mario is getting very tired. Im bored of just getting sequels to Mario 64 for 14 years. Well, I think NSMBW is pretty good. It's a lot of fun with friends. But i wouldn't say it's exactly amazing. It's fun, but if you really have nothing else to play then you might get sick of it
