Shoguns lack of success in the Octagon was due to him having blown out his ACL in both knees prior to his debut. He had no stamina and gassed in the first 2 minutes. Now that he can train again and is healthy he would destroy Forrest or Coleman.

its hard to explain, I go into the move menu and see exactly what I can do for transitions and reversals, I try them all, then hold l1 in and try and nothing works, From mount up I can roll into where he is sitting behind my back, but he rolls me right back into mount again.

the_edge02 you should buddy me. My advice to you is partly what Soul told you to do which is go through TUTORIAL if you're not aware about Transitioning (TR for short). I am not the best ground technician on this game, but I am not going to be put away with one FULL MOUNT ATTEMPT and I definitely make it a challenge for them to TR on me. I go to PRACTICE and put the AI (computer) on EXPERT and "POSITIVE GRAPPLE" what...

Did you try the tutorial? Just turn the analog stick. Also, you might want to try holding L1 to try a bigger escape.

i hate how it takes about 30-40 head kicks to knock outa fighter. i would rather it be more realistic, say that if both attack near the same time, the one that connects heavier would stun the other, then step back for that awsome one(head) kick k.o. not50 hits to stun. that's why i perfer ufc si to this.

Try the tutorial. This will cover the basics and give you most info needed. Also, time your transitions, you'll get better positions that way
