His HP is really low for a wall, I think. There is a Wall set in Smogon, though. Mixed feelings here. Give it a try and see how far it works out for you.

When breeding, does anyone know if the shiny status is determined before you get the egg, like gender and nature are? Or if it will just happen randomly? The shiny number thing of the poke is decided when the egg is created, before you get it. Also, is it true that breeding with a pokemon from a different region increases the chance of hatching a shiney, if so, what are the new odds for ...

I hate the Battle Tower - I find it slightly fun, but I think that Nintendo was wrong in practically REQUIRING EVed pokemon, since most people have no idea EVs even exist. The Battle Factory is fun. At least it doesn't require you to train your own team. I have nothing against the Battle Castle, but I don't find it especially fun. The Hall is ok, I guess. There's a sticky with a list of the Platinum differences, check it out. And you do get to catch both Dialga and Palkia. Although in Gold/Silver you could catch both Lugia and Ho-oh, you just would catch the other one at a level in which it forgot Aeroblast/Sacred Fire. Back then, there was no move relearner.

No other level up moves than Teleport, and it evolves at level 16. You can use a Move Tutor to put stuff on him, though.

I don't know about Levitate for Mewtwo, but... It sure would be nice if the legends with Pressure got another ability. Same goes for the starters - they could use another ability as well.
