A real
Mainline gaming video card is required. You don't have one.

You are probably in the begging of the game. When you reach Neverwinter, you will find out how you can leave her. Just be patient and you will get your chance to "get rid of her". My advice though is to keep her close. She gives you some nice and funny responds in dialogues and a couple of
side-quests. Besides, if your character is not a rogue, she will be very handy.

I fell your pain, it's extremely annoying. But at least Shandra (the forced PM for Act II) doesn't count to the maximum number of PMs you can have. It's like having a free fighter, and people say that she can become an excellent dual wielder. I don't remember
too many times when you have to take a certain PM, unless it's for a side quest centred around him/her/it.

You MIGHT be able to run it at lowest settings. I used to have that exact same card, so I know it's quite outdated. Right now, I have a 7800GS that runs it fairly well with some graphical settings turned off, but there's still some video lag in large combat. I'd say if you're willing to play the game on lowest settings, give it a try...
NWN2 can't be that expensive anymore.
