you won't be able to tap strum or do anything with the slider bar. Purple
stringed notes will be hit like HO/PO's but that's really it.

Not sure if those signs mean you need new batteries, but when the 4 red lights next to the
strum bar blink (Yes, they also blink when it's first turned on or has lost connection to the receiver thing) it means your battery's almost dead.
