i just bought this game (really late, i know!) but i wanted 2 try this b4 moving onto part 3. this game is TOTALLY different from any other racing game i normally play (midnight club la, need for speed) and im having alot of trouble with it. im a beginner so i put it on easy. even though im following the green line and stopping when im supposed 2 (when it turns red) i still skid sometimes. is it the cars? how can i fix this? it also seems like...

This game is a sim. Drive like you would a real car and you'll be fine

The brakes work like real brakes in this game, try squeezing them gently for a smoother slowdown.. At least that was my problem when i started, i was used to tapping the brake(hard) multiple times to slow down my car(like in GTA, the old NFS games, etc.). Try following the AI for a few laps without going for 1st place to learn when to slow down, how to take turns, etc. You could also try free ride mode(arcade) to make yourself more comfortable...

The only thing I like in FM2 that is NOT in FM3 is system link... I still cannot understand why they would remove something like this. What are those people who invested in a triple screen set up going to do when they want to play some multiplayer with their buddies? Go back to Forza 2??
