And I kind of find it funny that in the same post where you said to ignore optimization, you were clearly optimizing the Soldier.

Oops, I meant the no mou class that can tame monsters. They get much better stats all around. Darn, now I can't remember the name of it.

It's debatable. Beastmasters get better stats than morphers except for MP and Speed - arguably the most important two stats for morphers. A morpher doesn't care about Watk nor Mpow. He'll get those from the monsters he morphs into. And his Wdef - while not up to that of a beastmaster - is still better than a human fighter's Wdef.

Kinda hard to record what happens on the SP for the computer with a lack of webcam and whatnot. Yeah yeah, not helping my case and it sounds like an excuse to save face. It did happen though, and I haven't had anything like it happen again. I dunno, maybe it was effected by the previous owner? I did buy it used, so I have no clue really.

Ummm.... What game are you playing where you can raise a morpher as an animist? And why would you want to? Morphers already get better Speed and MP stat growth than animists. Animists get better defense stat growth, but not enough better to worry about.

You left out the part where all their abilities are worthless . At least Warriors get Greased Bolt. >_> Aside from that, I don't have any problems with Soldiers. I really like their sprite, pretty unconventional for a generic sword-and-shield class. I've always thought of it as somewhat symbolic of the game's character designs as a whole.

mission items affect the appearance of possible chars recruitment. Dunno why you tried to ask this but you can get chars mostly from dispatch mission. no matter how low the level of the mission is. The mission where you are required to use the mission item "Wyrmstone" IIRC its a story mission so you wont miss it, that's an assured recruitment, and that char are already on higher jobs.

Have your hunter use his Capture ability to stock the monster bank. You'll also get one soul from each monster. The exceptions are the dread soul, the rukavi soul (which are special mission rewards), and the mythril soul (which you already have - lucky you).

You're thinking of #097 The Dark Blade. It's non-repeatable, no-flee, in a jagd. The paladin/blue mage knows 6 blue magic abilities including Goblin Punch, so you'd have to fight a long time to be sure he'll use Goblin Punch at least once. Plus he's level 48. You may want to have your thief steal his Vigilante just to reduce the healing you'll need. Since you're at #032 Tower Ruins, it's ...

Check out the Mission Prizes faq to see what level of reward it is, and then check the mission list in that faq to see what missions award items of that level. If you have the patience, you can force any item (of the appropriate reward level) to be what you get, it just takes alot of reloading. What you do is this...figure out when EXACTLY a mission with the reward level of the item you want ...
