Golem vs. Allistair
Published (2009-11-26 02:50:00)
^ this is another good tactic TC that's mage-reliant. I wouldn't use Alistair though. Since he's well protected buy your mages and has a spell resistance, you don't really need a tank. You just need a warrior to draw aggro. He can be a dps character as well. 2H berserker+templar best fits this role. He's also immune to stun and knockdown. Can deal alotta dmg, stun and has 2 AOE attacks.

Admitted, id like DA to be more open world. Buit not so open that i kill myself out of solitude, cuz i seem to be alone on the planet...;) I thought this age we would say goodbeye to "on rails"gameplaying. But not yet, i guess. What game, apart from Oblivion, actually has had that kind of open world, exactly? Not Assassin's Creed 1, not Heavenly Sword, Not Infamous. So what, exactly, are people talking about apart from...

If you already know where the others are, what is the problem? I don't remember two of them being in the random backstreets though. I think two are in the market district, but I might be remembering wrong

new game, same created character

Nah, I think it's a good thing. It encourages players to experience all of the subtle and interesting differences between the origin stories.

Summoning Sciences Problem

Just for everyone's information, you CAN go back to the summoning font between steps on the 4th summoning. You just can't interact with it. So, if you went back, or clicked it accidentally, it wouldn't screw up the fourth summoning in the slightest. I know because my first playthrough, I thought you HAD to address the font between steps.

Force Field, get it. It's fireball and claw attacks can be healed easy with lesser polts. But the "Grab" attack with its mouth that hits your tanker like 10 times for high damage can be stopped with a quick force field.

I've only played DS for a couple hours, but it's apples to oranges IMO. They don't aim to do the same things at all.

You have to sign in to your account on your PS3 then download it at the start menu. Then the chestplate is put in your inventory. The rest you have to buy from the dwarf merchant in your camp.

Fantastic story. Great voice acting (except in the human noble origin story). Moral ambiguity. Choices actually have an effect on the world/story. Solid single-player RPG experience.

I'm currently procrastinating a paper on John Locke and the dissolution of government so I too can get a peice of paper saying I can regurgitate crap! But unlike you, DA:O is the reason why I'm doing the paper the night before its due. My problem was that I bought the game before the paper was assigned and so I have already become addicted to it lol
