The second one shows up when the first one's health gets low. If you kill him with a strong burst attack, like a Firestorm when he's doubled over in pain and vomiting from the snake tail tearing at his existence, you can finish them off one at a time without much trouble.

The main problem is my ring of fire resistance made a difference of only 41 HP. Which seems like... Well, what the hell? Honestly. If I take 700+ damage from a fire attack, I'd expect the ring to reduce the damage by more than 1 14th of the total damage. Especially when I recall the ring being much more effective early on in my game. The whole big main thing I'm interested in right now...is if and how diminishing returns affect our...

I don't use magic with this character. My mage, on the other hand, tears them up like no one's business, thanks to Homing Soul Arrow.

A decent night of sleep and my first attempt this AM he went down. I think my brain had some time to process his moves and was much more relaxed. I didn't either panic or get too aggressive. With blueblood R1 was doing like 150 damage, but with light-weapon buff, and two handed, I was doing 300 or 400+ damage. I especially enjoyed his attempts at wrath of god. If he really killed important NPCs like Stockpile Thomas or Yuria, I think you shouldl restart. Shouldn't you have noticed by his evil voice, scary armor, assassin's weapon, bodies appearing in the Nexus, and your NPCs disappearing? The NPCs even warn you of him and stuff. You should have killed him the second he gets out of the cage. You get the armor right the and there .:P TOO BAAAAAAD

in 1-4 near the 2nd dragon spot down the stairs. Or you can buy one from merchant in 1-3 for 20000. I did that trip to the merchant just for that ;)

I don't think the sword you use has any bearing on which shield is best (unless you're talking about a spear or rapier). Choose a shield based on how often you like to parry, whether you need to block magic or if you just want to tank everything.

Yes, the Tower Knight and Penetrator being referred to as Heroes of Boletaria didn't make much sense since they're demons. So it's kind of weird how you're fighting these demons that are/were heroes.

interesting. It looks like the answer is: don't get hit. Am I reading this right: using half of your ring fingers for a specialized ring stops only 40hp (5% of the total damage) of a fire ball? I think the answer would be don't even bother to use it.. you're going to die in the same number of hits with or without it.

Sweet Spot refers to a specific distance where the weapon does full damage. Critical damage refers to hitting an enemy while they are stunned or during an attack, or just after before they finish any recovery animation. Backstabs and after parries, refers to backstabs and ripostes. The strange part is that the damage type is listed as critical when you make a fatal weapon. I'd have to ...

Depends on your Dexterity but yeah Morion and clever rat's makes it crazy. Plus it's the highest damage bow, try to make another bow that does more damage.
