...Well, except that his films actually make money, only one of them suffered from executive meddling (specifically, the horrible pre-Disney dub of Nausicaa of the Wind Valley) he has a consistent track record in quality (although to be fair, Don Bluth had barely anything to do with "his" movies post-All Dogs Go to Heaven, so i can't really blame him for films he had little to no control over, and i'm not just...

Sonic SataM is overrated and only looks good from a nostalgic point of view You obviously haven't seen the show recently, even Nostalgia Critic knows that it's a quality show. I bought the DVD and watched every single episode almost straight, not because I haven't seen them all before (when I was younger, I only saw a couple episodes) but because the stories were actually interesting. But even so, the animation is definitely a...

Mainly because of hearing Paul Dini's stories of working at Filmmation and how he wanted to write a script for the Hulk Cartoon about the real dynamic between Banner and the Hulk and was told that the Hulk was only a big green guy who smashed stuff. He then said that most people in the cartoon industry who are writers usually just go through the motions to receive a paycheck and ...

You pretty much answered your own question. With the creation of Flash, television networks can make cartoons very cheaply and efficient, but the art usually suffers. Also, the 60-80's weren't entirely great, what with many Hanna-Barbara cartoons having pretty cheap animation most of the time. The fault mainly rests with the networks, as Flash has the capabilities to make some pretty nice-looking...
