I started as a Ranger and took him to 33. It got old rather quickly for me. I started a Sin three days ago and I'm having a blast in the abyss and rifts. It really depends on whether you like fast gameplay with many skills or slower gameplay with fewer skills.

Health, mana, flight pots are a staple. CC pots are great. Class-relative food buffs are good. DP food is good. Flight / run speed scrolls are good. Attack speed and crit scrolls are good for melee. Anti-shock scrolls are good. That just about covers everything.

As a lvl 45 Chanter you should honestly use staff and chain. The results in use leather does not seem worth it honestly. At low levels Mace and board is alright to have in case you pulled more than you can chew, but as you level more you parry will be your life saver and should avoid a shield build. You can view population distribution at http://aiononline.com/ as well as tons of other info about that server and the individual characters on it. If the balance between the two factions is appreciably off (dunno where it draws the line) it starts preventing people from joining that faction and forcing them to join the other if they want to be on that server.

I would guess before they can review a game they would have to hit maximum lvl and experience what the game has to offer at the end of their journey.....Expect the time to level to be brought up a few times in the review, when ever its done.
