The Connect plan is not compatible with Smartphone/Blackberry devices, so you won't be able to keep that for the Blackberry Tour. What you'll need to do is move your line to a Select plan so that you still get unlimited messaging and add on the $29.99 feature for Blackberry Email & Web.   Reasons/Complaints abound about why advanced device data plans are $29.99 and not compatible with the Connect or Premium plan. Security Wipe is a little Drastic for deleting an app, I deleted Quickpull by simply going to Options and Applications, Third Party App, select app and delete it. Doesn't wipe out everything else on the device.

Ran good but buggy on 4.7. I cannot get it to run at all on 5.0.  Hopefully when final comes out it will run. It is twice as fast (or more) than the current BlackBerry Browser.   On a similar note Foxfire is creating a mobile browser that is in private beta.

Hi, I am so sorry you had a bad customer service experience.  I did not catch what Blackberry your daughter had to have replaced.  Just a suggestion, perhaps buy a case such as an Otter Box for her device.  That might give some added protection.  Again, sorry you had a bad experience. Doc

VZW does not disable the GPS. Go to Advanced Options>GPS, and make sure that it is set to "Location On", and location aiding is enabled, and device GPS is enabled. Your GPS should then work. I am assuming that you are on a Storm2?

When you get a replacement Blackberry you need to re-register your device with RIM's severs. Click on the Options icon and select Advanced Options> Host Routing Table and hit your menu button then select "Register Now". You should get a message confirmation you've registered. Then your browser icon should reappear.   Check for BBM in the Instant Messanger folder. If not, after you've got your ...

Hello, hey have you checked to see if you have any apps open, because if you have media or slacker open then mute will pause and play if triggered? The other you said about random, so do you get it "at of" no were? Without opening? Also you can check open apps by pressing and holding the menu button? Okay so you have no apps open when this happens then it maybe could be a bug, slacker download or...
