I wonder what happened. Suddenly when there was a question by more than one person at the same time about where all this obsession with honey and vegans is coming from, silence gracefully took over this thread.

I have seen a few raw people say this, and I have no reason to doubt that what they are saying is true. I imagine, since cooked food causes inflammation and other problems, that eliminating it (cooked food) can and does allow for an easier, comparably, childbirth. I think if you want to go raw, there are many, many reasons for it, least of all childbirth.

Yep, a 'vegan diet with some meat'
At least they are acknowledging the obvious health benefits, it's not perfect but getting any kind of endorsement of a vegan diet on television is a good thing.

What is it that's in them?
You can cut them into triangles and bake or fry them to turn them into chips. Then maybe your family will want them? Or hand them to a homeless person.

Look at the per day serving sizes in this link: http://www.vegsoc.org/info/protein.html Are you eating that much protein?

It's nearly impossible to say what's causing your hair to fall out. It's natural to assume it could be diet related since you recently changed to a vegan diet, but it could be an unrelated physiological factor or even stress. The only thing you can do to make sure you stop it is go to a doctor. You should ask for tests to be done to look at your nutrient levels and see if there's something you're...

Not very long.... less than a year maybe. I found out a lot of the cheese I was eating had " enzymes" from the stomach of baby calves. Cheese was the only thing I didn't want to give up. Rather than worrying about the enzymes I just decided to eliminate it.

"Diet for a New America" by John Robbins is the book that turned me veg. Although that book should have been enough to make me go vegan after reading, it took internet forums and meeting other "real live vegans!" to help me make the true connection. *shrug* I've heard that there's more or less a revised version of this book entitled "The Food Revoluntion: How Your Diet Can Help Save Your ...

There is a vegan burger at McD in the UK. The Veggie Deluxe without mayo.
They don't advertise it as vegetarian though as due to the cleaning process (or the oil filtration system - can't remember which) tiny trace amounts of oil from the meat fryers might end up in the veggie fryer.

That would definately make me say something. Are you a vocal vegan? I mean, does everyone know and remember that you're a vegan. Some vegans are real quiet and shy about it. I know I would be angry about the newsletter and I wouldn't be supporting it.
