I'm having a thick day! Is the apple sauce that is used in a lot of the vegan baking recipes just stewed apples with cinnamon or is it a commercial brand like Baxters or Colemans applesauce. Also when a recipe calls for a unsweetened applesauce does that mean sugar free or sweetened with sweetner.

Along the same lines as my last post, I am looking for things to do in Scotland and Wales. My friend and I have been to Wales before, but we pretty much just drove through, we didn't really stop to do anything except sleep one night. And neither of us has been to Scotland. Anyone willing to point me in an interesting direction? We're looking to spend about a week in each country.

I am hoping to backpack across Ireland, Scotland, and Wales in June, but I can't quite find something I need online! I'm looking for really good maps and info of the rail ways. I found a good site for Ireland's DART system, but I can't find any good maps of Scotland and Wales. My friend and I pretty much know how to get around Ireland, and we are then taking a ferry from Belfast, IE to Stranraer...

just been checking out recipes to make for the week and this one: http://www.vegsoc.org/cordonvert/recipes/faking1.h tml sounds good, but where you get flavoured soya mince? i've only ever since plain mince whether its frozen, chilled or dried. also not as important as a stock cube will substitute, but where do you buy the marigold boullion?
