Well I stopped eating meat when I suddenly decided it was gross one day so I didn't want to eat it any more.
But I've found a lot of people say what you're saying, how they lose the taste for something they used to enjoy and it now tastes bad. If I accidentally bite into a piece of meat I think it tastes terrible!! Yuck!
Don't feel bad with yourself for trying it. You've done it and ...

Rice and beans and pasta are very easy to make, and they occupy a large portion of my diet.
What do you typically eat now? That way we can help you vegetarianize your current diet, which will be much easier than attempting to switch to an entirely different slate of dishes.

I don't see how it's "cheating"
Is it an animal? No
Does she think it's cheating if you eat
tofu or mushrooms?
I'd just say "um, ok" and not even argue. LOL

By vegetarian lifestyle do you mean
vegetarian diet ?
You can get enough daily protein with both diets , but on a veg*n diet your body won't spend as much energy digesting meat .
Ever hear of Bill Pearl ?
Are you going to fight other women AKA foxy boxing ?
