My usual morning blend of peas and bananas got over invaded with powdered ginger (accident, my bad). I still managed to chug it down, but now througout the day I feel halfway between puking and dying. Grrr

Ingredients - 1 large onion, finely diced OR 7 or 8 onions very finely sliced - 1 red/orange/yellow pepper, finely diced, but not green as they're only worth eating raw - 1 stick of celery, finely diced - 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, smashed - Dried chiles - use either ancho, mulato or pasilla, plus chipotle. Don't use fresh chiles - save that for garnish, you want flavour not just heat. 1 of the A, M or P chiles should do it, or a...

My chilli is always very basic as I don't have a lot of time to prepare meals but it's still lovely. Saute some red onions, mushrooms, red pepper and fresh garlic. Add in the 'mince', some fresh tomatoes and a little tomato juice. Add in the kidney beans in chilli sauce which stops it from being dry. Serve with a little rice. Simple. Easy. Delicious.

I've got some blocks of lite firm tofu and was planning on having them marinaded with spices and baked. One simple dish I was going to do was dump on some really decent organic tomato sauce onto slices of lite firm tofu, maybe add a little Daiya cheese on top. The idea is quick and easy and to make enough so that it lasts me for a bit. That way when I go from my day job to my night job ...

Wouldn't worry about it going off - it'll be fine for years after the best before date. I used to use it as a substitute for sugar in bread making.

nothing in particular, but lots of these: garlic ginger chili steamed greens fruit fresh pineapple before meals seems to reduce congestion, and gargling with cayenne pepper and hot water mixture works well on a sore throat. _________________ ::eat y'self fitter:: donostia surf webcam
