I've recently started only eating berries, as they and veggies top the
nutrient list.
Most fruit is just water and sugar, really.

Aye, this isn't really news i don't think.
If relying on D2 supplements (ie, not getting enough sun), taking more (perhaps double the RDA) is not a bad idea.
Toxicity is a risk, but we're talking many times the RDA.
Also, age inhibits absorption of D2, so aging vegans should bump it up even more, i read 1000ug (hope that's the right
unit of measurement) was considered ...
